V12 Slim Absolute complains endlessly

I’ve had my V12 Slim Absolute for 11 months, and it’s time for it to go. I usually enjoy cleaning, but this vacuum’s ceaseless whining leaves me annoyed after each use. “My filter is dirty!” “The airway is blocked!” “I’m running low on battery already!” “You need to clean the canister!” “I’m going to shut myself off now!” It’s insufferable.After five minutes of use, the Clean Filter indicator comes on. After eight minutes, the Airways Blocked sensor is activated. After ten minutes, the unit shuts itself off. It doesn’t matter if the canister is empty or if I’ve just cleaned the filter. It complains regardless. I vacuum my house every week. My carpets are not dirty enough for this level of whining.The only thing that clears the Clean Filter indicator once it appears is to pop the filter off while the unit is running. Nothing else works. And once that Airways Blocked indicator appears, forget it. The vacuum is rendered useless. I still have my twenty year-old Dyson Slim. I’m going back t

Feature Request: SolarCycle Lamp auto-on when power detected (light switch support)

I would like to plug this into a switched outlet, so it can be turned on and off with a light switch on the wall. Unfortunately the lamp does not power on when it is plugged into a switched outlet that gets switched on. It always requires a manual tap of the power button or a command via app/bluetooth. If possible to address in a firmware update, please make it so.This would also enable people to plug a lamp into a smart outlet, so they can configure it to work with Apple HomeKit.

HP09 Customer Service Abysmal - Is Warranty even honoured?!

As someone that has multiple Dyson products not sure if I will be spending my money with them in the future. I contacted Dyson service to help resolve my issue with the fan not working; I have it in the nursery so I can control the heat. I tried all the troubleshooting before hand and followed the steps through chat as well. I then had to argue with the service advisor to have a replacement. They want me to send in my old fan before I receive the replacement. But I still haven’t received a return label or even email regarding the confirmation. Amazing service for spending $1000 on what is now garbage. I’m still waiting for a canister for my Dyson V11 for a year that broke during warranty.

Robot off dock (360 Vis Nav)

Hi, wondering if anyone else has had same issue and been able to revolve. The robot is correctly on dock (blue light goes off on back when it is placed on) but says return to dock on LCD screen of Robot and MyDyson app says ‘Robot off Dock’. I’ve tried cleaning connectors to dock and robot with dry cloth but hasn’t fixed problem.

how to test 360 camera quality / performance

I just got a new Dyson 360 NAV and suspect that it’s having some visibility issues with the 360 camera because it’s not doing a very good job navigating and going to the edges of the floors not even close. When I zoom into the top of the 360 camera, it looks like there are potentially some tiny little defects or possibly chips or tiny Scratch and I’m wondering if this is what is hindering the performance ? is there a way to test if this is an issue or not? If we suspect there is an issue with the 360 camera is there a way to just replace the physical glass on the camera without replacing the entire unit? Like I said, I just got it recently, but even with numerous runs, it’s never covering the majority of our floors, even though I admit that it is a smaller place with a lot of things to navigate around. I have owned multiple much less expensive robot vacuums in the past and they have all done a much better job covering the majority of the floors, including Proscenic vacuums, which are a

HOW DO I FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT ABOUT DYSON CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have been a loyal Dyson customer for many years, purchasing everything from air purifiers and floor care products to the most recent hairstyling tools. However, I am extremely disappointed with the ongoing issue regarding my air styler, which is still under warranty. Despite reaching out to Dyson in June 2024, and having numerous back-and-forth communications, I have yet to receive the replacement I was promised.Each day, I spend over an hour speaking with a customer service representative, only to be told that the issue is being escalated and that I should wait another 24-48 hours. However, I continue to receive empty promises and have not been provided with a concrete solution. I feel stuck and ignored, with no one willing to take real action.The consistent misrepresentation of facts and the lack of meaningful resolution are unacceptable. where is my refund after ten weeks

I returned a Dyson supersonic hairdryer to Dyson on the 11th September 2024 and have still not received a refund. I have tried ringing customer service 3 times and was told I’d get my refund within 2 weeks each time. I have chatted twice via chatbot and was told the same. I rang again last week to be told it had been escalated to another team who would ring me within 72 hours and it is now a week with no phone call. I rang again today and the customer service lady told me she’d investigate and ring me back in an hour but no phone call! I’ve written a letter of complaint but no joy! This is frustrating beyond belief and I can’t seem to speak to anyone who can resolve this! The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with and I am still £279 out of pocket!!

Missing pieces to V8 main body?

So my wife and I received a V8 for our wedding a couple years ago, and I’ve always been frustrated that the bottom of the bin doesn’t easily open for emptying the way it seemed like it should from the stickers… Only just recently when I was trying to troubleshoot this for the 5th time did I realize that my V8 does not have the little bits circled in the attached photo!Is there a way I can get those little parts and hook them up to my vacuum? Or do I need to get a whole new main body?Thanks!

Paypal refunds - Completely unacceptable behavior from Dyson

I purchased a Dyson Airwrap however the product didn’t work as intended and as such a return was requested. The Airwrap was received by Dyson and acknowledged on 5th September 2024. Dyson Wash G1 Jammed Roller Drive

We bought a Dyson Wash G1 in June this year. Although it works quite well when it is working, it has not been a good experience. Now the machine reports that the rollers are jammed. In fact the problem is that one of the plastic gears driving the rollers is jammed - it happens even when there are no rollers in the machine and one gear, unlike the other, cannot be moved by hand. I’m looking for advice as to how to fix the problem. If you go to the Dyson support page this is not a listed device so there isn’t a way to report the problem there. The nearest Dyson repair centre is an impractical 1.5 hours away, so I don’t know where to turn to for advice. At this point the main option seems to be to disassemble the the head myself and try to fix the problem, and if that doesn’t work to throw it away.We also have the problem with the debris tray falling loose - it’s a bad design and will always be prone to coming away because there is not enough support in the catch to retain it properly.All

Hi everyone, Full dark black screen persists on my Dyson V15 Detect's LCD display, preventing me from selecting power levels or viewing the battery life indicator. how to get my Vacuum or refund?

HiI purchased my dyson V8 in October 18th 2023. In February my vacuum stopped working so I called dyson costumer service, everything went well they sent me a label to my email to send out my vacuum. I sent it over at UPS in February 5th of 2024. Then I was supposed to get a replacement and i never did. Somehow dyson sent it to a wrong address and I've been dealing with it since February. I've called every 10 days and wait and wait and nothing happens. I haven't gotten my vacuum and I don't get any response from costumer service. Last time I got a called from "manager Ada" and did nothing. I just want the vacuum I sent in February that I paid for! I'm not asking for nothing else. I have the emails from dyson costumer service and from UPS! I need my Vacuum!! I've been 9 months waiting for it.

Zoning

Hi all,I am totally confused and I know it’s probably me. I have mapped my house and I’m now trying to zone it. I have had numerous attempts at it and watched numerous You Tube videos but still cannot define areas properly. I have a lot of hallways and rooms. I can’t really tell which rooms are being labelled and two rooms that are wrong will not change. If I just define a couple of areas will this work as whole rooms? Can anyone advise the easiest way to zone?

Experience with Customer Service

My experience with Dyson Customer Service has been protracted, exhausting, and wholly unacceptable for a company of Dyson’s reputation. I have warned all of my friends and family to stay away from this brand at all costs. I have been trying to exchange my Airwrap for over two months, making approximately 27 calls to customer service during this period. My experience can only be described as a series of unfulfilled promises, delays, and inconsistent responses, outlined as follows:• Initial Delays: For the first 2 weeks, I needed to make 10 separate calls about initiating my exchange, with each agent instructing me to wait “a few more days” for validation of my purchase. I never received updates within these “few days”, and had to call repeatedly to initiate any progress on my case. This culminated in finally receiving a return label after numerous interactions.• Warehouse Receipt Verification: My machine was received at Dyson’s warehouse on October 24, 2024. Despite this, I had to make
