Dyson's two-stage, sealed filtration system removes city fumes, viruses and 99% of ultrafine pollutants from the air you breathe.¹ This was a spectacular challenge. To take a huge filter and decrease its – without compromising on performance – is not easy.

We had to go right back to the drawing board. But as a result, our activated carbon filter absorbs volatile organic compounds and gases found in cities and an electrostatic filter captures viruses and 99.95% of city pollutants and allergens, down to 0.1 microns.¹ From home to city, Dyson engineers continue to pioneer in the filtration space.
