I have the Dyson Outsize. When I was emptying the bin, the red rubber ring and a grey plastic ring fell loose. I can not figure out where it goes on the bin. Inside or out? I can’t find any close of pictures of the bin to see. Should I call Dyson? Or does anyone have any advice for me. ?

Sorry to see this has happened to your Dyson Outsize™ vacuum. These are part of the shroud wiping mechanism, which automatically wipe any clinging hair or debris from the perforated metal shroud as you empty your machine’s clear bin. They’re normally fixed in place at the top of the bin.
If you haven’t been able to reinstall these parts, our recommendation would be to order a replacement Bin assembly from Dyson.com.
