Dyson V12 sometimes turns on by itself when I push on the battery | Dyson Community

So the new Dyson V12 (never used before) is working not quite right the way it's supposed to. When I push the turn ON/OFF everything is ok but there’s another way to turn it on and I think it is not ok.
When the Dyson is off all I need to do is to push down on the battery from underneath and it starts working. Same steps I can do to turn it off.
The other thing is that even though it is new it has a small gap between the battery and the body of the vacuum cleaner itself

Maybe somebody has the same problem and can give some tips about this?

@DenisDavshan Thanks for your post, It sounds like there may be a poor/loose connection. I’d go ahead and take apart and then put back together the machine.

Mine is doing the same thing right from when it was new a little over a month ago. I don’t even have to touch the battery. I could be using it and it’ll turn off. I wrote to customer service and they are taking a long time to get this issue fixed.
