Dyson V15 Absolute Detect - Irritating Throat & Nose

I got my V15 a few weeks ago and absolutely love it; however, it seems to be causing some irritation when I use it - the back of my throat gets scratchy and my nasal passage gets irritated/inflamed feeling.  This is my 3rd Dyson (and nicest) and I’ve never had this issue before, nor with the cheap Shark it is replacing.  My concern is that something is wrong with the filtration (I am very allergic to dust mites and a little allergic to my cat, so HEPA is crucial).  I believe the HEPA on the V15 is supposed to be top notch.  But it doesn’t set off my air purifier sensor (auto mode) when I run it in the same room.

Anybody have any thoughts?  Not sure if I need to return it or what.
