Escalating customer-service issue | Dyson Community

Hi,

My 10-month old Dyson vac has broken. The spare part is not currently available. The only option offered by customer care is an alert to tell me when the spare part is in stock, at which point I have to contact Dyson and place an order for the spare part. So plenty of work on my side, and while I wait I have no vacuum.

If I had bought the vacuum through a reputable retailer they would just replace the whole unit. (Going by my past experiences with Fisher & Paykal and Miele, other ‘premium’ household appliance brands would do this if I had bought direct from them.)

Is there a way to raise this ‘higher up’ with Dyson with someone who has the authority to do the right thing and send me a replacement vacuum?

Seth
