Hair look damaged after using Airstrait | Dyson Community

I have been using Airstrait for a few weeks and one thing that I don't like at all is that is makes my tips look too damaged. I do have some split ends but they are so much more visible after using Airstrait than my usual Cloud9/GHD hair straightener.

I'm using heat protectant before every use. Also the hair starts to curl within a few hours and the look don't even stay for full day.

I have watched so many videos and tried everything but the results are still same. I have naturally wavy hair.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm confused if I should keep it or return.

I’ve been using this for a few months now and it’s damaging my hair too.  It’s breaking my hair which in turn is making it look frizzy.  I’ve Spoken to Dyson and even sent photos but because it’s over 35 days I can’t return it.  I can’t use it as I don’t want it to damage anymore of my hair.  Bought lots of things from Dyson but this was a massive expensive mistake!

I hate my Airstrait. I can’t use it anymore. While it was good for straightening my hair without the need for a flat iron, I’ve noticed my hair is dry and damaged. Even my hairdresser asked if I was using a flat iron on my hair and I said no, only the Airstrait. I have always had healthy hair but now, even after my cut, it looks dry and brittle. I’ve had it for a year and even bought the hard case for it. Now it just takes up space since I can’t use it. I wish Dyson wouldn’t have advertised this as non-damaging.
