How can I get my missing vacuum back following repair | Dyson Community

I sent my DC4O upright vacuum to Dyson for repair several weeks ago. I received email confirmation that the repair had been completed and was advised that my vacuum would be delivered back to me on 20th May 2024 by DPD. Despite numerous phone calls to both DPD and Dyson I have yet to receive my vacuum. DPD advise that Dyson have to raise an investigation which Dyson claim to have done but are unable to tell me the whereabouts of my vacuum, when or if it will delivered back to me. On each occasion I have phoned Dyson they have said they will investigate further and call back but have never once done so. They are also unable to give me any information as to how I can escalate my complaint or receive compensation. Ridiculously, it seems my only option is to raise a legal action. Before I go down this route has anybody experienced and successfully resolved a similar situation?
