Hi @Tanya Durlen , thanks for your post. If there is too much suction, the brush bar will not spin when placed on a special type of rug or carpeting in your home. Please confirm if the issue continues when being used on bare/hard flooring?

Thanks for the speedy reply.  I just tested, and, there is no problem on the hard floor!  The house is covered in carpets, but it’s only a short pile carpet, I can’t imagine why would that cause a problem.  Would you suggest another attachment?

Hi, could anyone help with my query?  I have a DC32, the turbine brush does not spin on the short pile carpet, and I wonder if there is another attachment that would work (I only have standard attachments, but would be happy to buy another one that would work)
