I have DC32. The turbine head brush bar is spinning fine when in the air, but it stops spinning when placed on the carpet. There are no obstructions. I’m lost - please help!

Thanks for the speedy reply. I just tested, and, there is no problem on the hard floor! The house is covered in carpets, but it’s only a short pile carpet, I can’t imagine why would that cause a problem. Would you suggest another attachment?
Hi, could anyone help with my query? I have a DC32, the turbine brush does not spin on the short pile carpet, and I wonder if there is another attachment that would work (I only have standard attachments, but would be happy to buy another one that would work)
