Why is there no filter brush in my new Airwrap Multi-Styler

I purchased a new Airwrap Multi-styler & Dryer for Christmas and it did not come with a filter brush. Does this mean I do not need to clean the filter or do I need to buy one for myself.

If I need to purchase one are they all the same or do I need a particular one suitable for my item.
