My HP01 when the temperature is set at any heating temperature setting in about 10 seconds it dims and can’t read it even though room temperature is not at that setting.

@tomaugie Please check to make sure your machine isn’t on ‘night mode’ (moon icon on the remote) - which will dim the screen.
