I just purchased the Airstrait. The two times I have used it, my Dyson air purifier has gone to severe air quality. Has anyone else had this problem? Freaks me out!

Hi
Welcome to the Dyson Community!
It’s normal for a small quantity of water vapor to be dispersed into the air as your Dyson Airstrait straightener’s high pressure airflow simultaneously dries and straightens your hair. Your Dyson purifier’s air quality sensors may detect this vapor and temporarily register as it as a negative change to air quality - this should quickly resolve itself, and you can speed this up by ventilating the room you’re using your machines in.
Hope this helps!
I understand my air purifier going to severe when my hair is wet, but when I fix my hair the next day, I use the dry hair option. I do not add anything to my hair and my dyson air purifier still shoots to severe. Is this healthy?
