I have a carpet which has different kind of textures combined, also including different levels of thickness. The robot vacuum constantly detects drops/lifts with this carpet, requiring my manual intervention or just removal of the carpet completely.

I have already set the drop sensors on their less sensitive settings, is there something else I could do to still with settings to make the sensors less sensitive and thus, make them roll nicely over the carpet?
