Apologies if there are a few similar questions floating around, but I’m very confused about the usage in Europe of an Aistrait purchased in the UK.

According to the Dyson website, I understand that “(the Dyson Airstrait straightener) has been designed for use with the standard voltage of the country they were purchased in”. This is followed by a list that puts UK and Europe in the same area (220-240V). From this, I would gather that yes, I can use an Airstrait purchased in the UK in Italy, for example.

However, this is followed up with “We advise against using your Dyson hair care machine in another country with an adaptor”, which contradict the above. If I can use an Airstrait in the countries in the same voltage areas, how am I supposed to do that without an adapter?

Am I misunderstanding something?

Has anyone tried using an Airstrait purchased in the UK in Italy or another European country, by any chance? How did it go?
