Dyson cable tangled and won't swivel - any solutions?

My dyson airwrap was purchased 2 years ago and over time it has been a bit tangled. The worst of it is that now the end of the wire doesn’t swivel while I am using the airwrap. I need to manually twist it around in order to use it.

Has anyone else experienced this and know of a solution?
