Is it normal my Dyson Airstrait to overheat when I use it more that 40 minutes? How can I prevent it?
Hi
Welcome to the Dyson Community!
I’m not sure how long you’ve owned your Dyson Airstrait straightener, but if the filter is overdue for a clean this can contribute to overheating, especially after extended periods of use as you’ve described.
We recommend cleaning the filter a minimum of once a month, as shown in our video guide:
If your machine is brand new, or if you’re confident the filter has been very recently cleaned, you’ll need to get in touch with Dyson Customer Care in your region directly, so we can help check your machine is working as well as it should be.
Visit Dyson.com and click ‘Support’ for the correct contact details for your country.
Hope this helps!
