Why can't I cancel an order that is delayed? | Dyson Community

I ordered an Airstrait straightener and got an email informing me that shipping has been delayed and will only happen in 3-5 business days. I want to cancel my order because it will take too long. I understand not being able to cancel if it’s been shipped, but that’s not the case here. Can I get some help?
