Hi @Manni72,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

The Dyson Submarine™ wet roller head uses hydration, absorption and extraction technologies to remove spills and tough stains from hard floors. It’s suitable for use on a wide range of hard floor surfaces including wood, tile, ceramic, marble, stone, slate, linoleum etc.

It doesn’t generate steam - instead, 8 hydration points apply water to a motorised soft roller. As the roller rotates it absorbs spills and dislodges grime from the floor surface, then an extraction plate removes debris and dirty water from the wet roller. The waste water is collected in a separate quick-release tray, for easy emptying.

I hope this helps! If you still have any concerns about suitability, we’d recommend checking with the flooring manufacturer - they’re best placed to confirm the safest ways of caring for their product.
