My vac is still under guarantee.  I paid $600 for it and over 2 months ago the receptacle catch broke.  They cannot provide parts so I have to hold it together to vacuum.  They will replace the vacuum, but then I will have no vacuum for my pets for at least 3 weeks.  They do not trust me to send the new one first and then I send mine back.  If they have no parts, what good is a guarantee.  I have wasted many calls and hours trying to reason with them, and cannot do without a vacuum for that long.  The customer service is useless, and they have no filters in stock either.  This is my second, and final Dyson I will ever buy.  I do NOT recommend them due to lack of parts and trust in buyers.  I suspect this review will be deleted, and will move onto other forums to leave more feedback such as this.
