Hi everyone,

I have my V15 for about a year. Since a month it started switching off every time I start it.

When I start, it is on for 2-3 seconds and then switches off. This is repeated 3 times, then it works just fine, but makes us nervous and my wife doesn´t want to use it this way.

I already did some research on what the reason can be but haven´t found a real answer to this specific issue. Still I fully cleaned the bin and all visible/detachable parts but it doesn´t help the issue.

Also there was no error message or sign appeared on display.

I could not reach anyone via Dyson Customer Service Line in Germany. This is really frustrating us as we paid a lot of money and can´t even reach any customer service. Until this problem is solved, we will use our old school vacuum cleaner with cable, which is very inconvenient.

I hope someone from Dyson reads this and advises me what to do next!

Looks like have the same issue here with Dyson V15 2022.

When I press the switch after not using device for a few hours (regardless of whether it was on charging station or not) it turns off after 2-3 seconds. And it does not react to switch for the next 2-3 seconds.

On second attempt it turns on for like 5 seconds and then turns off with unusual sound. And also during these 5 seconds id does not turn off even if I release the switch.

After this it works just fine.

All the filters are cleaned according to the guides, there are no clogs, etc.

Please, let me know if there is a way to fix this on my own or if I need to send it to the service.

I tried to reach customer hotline but no one picked up. I used customer online chat function and received a case number, but it doesn’t tell me when they want to resolve it or even if they do something about it at all. 

I am very dissappointed. This is not the service you get after paying a fortune just because the brand is Dyson.
