Is the hand grip of your cordless vacuum to small for your hands? | Dyson Community

I am a man 185 cm tall who wears size 8 surgical gloves (this is a large size).

I find that the hand grip of our cordless vacuum is quite thin, causing my fingers to cramp in use.

The thin hand grip makes it harder to manipulate the heavy machine. Has Dyson sought advice from hobologists (people who study the design of handles) to consider a way to provide larger hand grips for those who need them?

Good idea. I had thought they did this with the Stick Oversized model...

i was talking surgical gloves, not industrial gloves.

Nothing there about a larger hand grip. It’s just a bigger machine. In the photo with the lady’s hand, the grip appears to be no larger.

Correct. The Outsize is just a larger canister. The handle size is the same between models. I suspect they’ve selected an average that suites 95% of the population, otherwise they’d have a 3 bears situation every time.

Have you seen the handle design on the omni-glide?
