Has anyone had a similar experience w/ a missing order? I ordered a Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum on 12 August, paying £299, for my daughter’s birthday. On 13 August, I got a note from DPD saying they couldn’t deliver it as no one was home. I called Dyson to cancel the order as my daughter was going on holiday. I was told I would receive reimbursement, but nothing happened. I called Dyson last week and was told that DPD confirmed it had been delivered back to the warehouse but Dyson has no record of it. I was given a case number (41077042) and was told they would look into it and someone would call me back. I didn’t hear anything and upon calling again today, was told the same thing. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one wasn’t available, but someone would call in 24 hours. I did make the point (politely), that since DPD had sent the item back, the customer should not have wait (a month), out of pocket while Dyson looks into their mistake. Ideally, I would like the item to be redelivered.
