I recently bought a V10, but I am bit disappointed as this red strip underneath the upholstery cleaning tool became unglued, I expected a bit more quality for the price.
I think I'll just remove the red strip completely, don't want to risk it using glue and staining the furniture.
This happened to the previous mattress tool I had. I assumed I snagged the part on a rough surface, never considered the glue being an issue. Thankfully the issue didn’t appear on the replacement Dyson sent.
Dyson should replace it for free. Part purchases are usually met with a 1-year warranty. Give them a call
