Hi, I have a Dyson V15 and I bought this attachment from someone. The serial number is the same as on the website from Dyson, so it should be compatible for the V15 and I assume that the box is older then the V15. 
Well, the attachment doesn’t fit. Also not on my moms V11 (which is on the box). 
 

Can someone help me out?
