We have been loyal customers of Dyson for many years, starting with DA001 , and never had any problems neither with vacuum cleaners nor with the fans. We were 100% happy with the quality we got from Dyson. Expensive, but the best quality for the buck.

Our last purchase was Dyson Gen5detect Cordless, Serial Number 1AM-US-SEA2076A. The order #112-1510097-7590606 (Serial #1AM-US-SEA2076A) was placed on Amazon on or about 11/28/2023. We diligently registered it on Dyson site. 

We moved to Palm Coast Florida 32164 in May 2024, unpacked vacuum cleaner, and started using it. In a couple of weeks happened something we never experienced with any of Dyson products before.

We would charge the battery overnight, it would show running blue lights for 12 hours, but when properly inserted into gadget it would not work, even the display was dead as if there was no battery at all. The nearest service center is nearly 300 miles away, so this was not an option.

We chatted with Dyson Agent Pushpa R on 06/04/2024. We explained to her what the problem was, and advised her that we had the order number, serial number of the gadget, and confirmation number from Amazon, Order Details from Amazon, payment confirmation from Credit Card, and product was registered with Dyson.

After a lengthy conversation she advised that” I can understand your concern but I do not have access without the details place the order.” We asked what other information she needed, she replied with” I request please check you email you got the email when you placed the order and send to us so that we can proceed with other steps, without the details I am not able to process the order. I am sorry for that.”, and she killed the chat.

          We were out of the country for more than a month, and upon the return initiated another chat with Agent Ankit S on 07/12/2024.

         We again went through all the details of the problem we experienced. The result? After half an hour she simply killed the chat.

          We immediately initialized another chat with Agent Aamir N. We again went through all details of the problem. We also asked several questions, he managed to ignore every one of them, and also killed the chat.

           Please advise me what documents are needed  to prove to Dyson employees that we purchased the above mentioned product.

           Please advise us if ignoring customer’s requests, and leaving chats without advising the customer is the policy endorsed by Dyson, Inc.

           Thank Dyson for your products, we do not think that we  would continue to be Dyson customers, probably switch to SharkNinja

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

Your Dyson warranty is validated by your original proof of purchase. This would include a store receipt, or an order confirmation email if you bought your machine online. You may also be able to use banking or other payment provider records, as long as they clearly show which item was paid for and the date of the transaction.
