Why does my new Dyson WashG1 tanks leak and then tells me the dirty unit is full when it is not? | Dyson Community

purchased on the 11 August. I have watched all videos and tightened the tank units as advised in problem solving but the tanks still drip / leak. The unit also tells me the dirty tank is full when it is not full. So far very disappointed in this purchase.  Purchase Order 910100659875

Mine does exactly the same. Plus it leaks water everywhere. Called customer service. They are sending a replacement but it has literally been used for about 15 minutes.

Hi @Hincey,

Welcome to the Dyson Community, and thanks for letting us know about this.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience so far, this isn’t what we’d normally expect. Just to check, I appreciate you’ve emptied the dirty water tank, but has the Debris tray also been emptied after the cleaning session?

If you’re confident both the tank and the tray are empty and you’re continuing to see this error, our Customer Care team will be happy to help further. Please visit Dyson.com and click Support to get in touch with the right Dyson Customer Care team for your region.

We'll look forward to speaking with you!

Thank you for your response.  Yes I have spent more time cleaning the machine than cleaning my floors. I will contact the Custome care team as suggested.
