I got my new Dyson v12 submarine 3 days ago. Last night was my first time trying out the mopping function. The water released from the tank was too much. My tiled floor was too wet not to my expectation! Is there any way to reduce the water flow capacity?
Hi
Welcome to the Dyson Community!
This is surprising to hear - during development, our engineers conducted over 2,700 tests to lock down the required amount of water released to the wet roller on every revolution to effectively dilute and absorb debris and dried-on spills and stains from hard floors.
This shouldn’t normally leave the floor excessively wet, but the results may vary depending on which type of flooring you’re cleaning, and the number of cleaning passes made.
If you continue to notice this, please get in touch with our experts directly so they can take some further details and help check everything is correct with your machine.
