We have (2) Dyson Pure Cool fans. I’m going to post my observation of its behavior over the past 18-20 months. I’d be interested if people have had same behavior or maybe share a thought to mitigate some of my quips.
Since new it always seemed in order to move air (and I’m 10-12’ away.) I’d have to have fan on setting 8-10 and the sound of the motors are pretty obvious (loud!).
Yes, we change filters as needed.
Anybody have any input? Is this just the norm? OR is there a quieter motor w/capabilities to move more air. Maybe this fan is designed for low flow and filtering air only. Which I find it really hard to believe this small fan can “filter” the air in a room to make a scientific reading from a sensor….
So I’d like to hear there is a recall on fan motors and the new is quieter and it moves more air. Anybody have any suggestions/share experience.
