Dyson repair and customer support for TP07 air treatment maschine | Dyson Community

Dear dyson community,

I would like to take the opportunity to share my experience with Dyson customer service.

My TP07 air purifier, purchased on December 14th, 2020, has recently started showing an exclamation mark on the display and has stopped working. It is not possible to reset it to factory settings. At least I was able to see the error codes on the display.

I then contacted Dyson customer service. They told me that the repair would cost €125. So I paid the money and sent the device in. A few days later I received a message saying that the device was too old and therefore could not be repaired. I am very surprised that this has only now been noticed, since I had previously provided the serial number in writing. The device was sent back to me and the money for the repair is to be refunded. Unfortunately, this does not solve my problem. Dyson is now offering me a 25% discount in the web shop, but only on the "Big and quiet" devices, which cost almost twice as much!

In summary, I am very disappointed with Dyson. I bought an expensive device and it broke after such a short time with no prospect of repair. On top of that, I got a voucher to buy an even more expensive device. Will it then work for more than 4 years?

Same thing happened to me mine stopped working yesterday with that exclamation mark. I called customer repair i have to drive for 1 hour to their service place. MyTP07 air purifier was purchased last year Sept 2023. So what did they do? Just shut them down all at once? LOL.

I always took care of it and turned it off before unplugging when i needed to move it to a different area. I am in Los Angeles. Customer service was polite but there is nothing they can do except to tell me to go to the dyson repair shop. Why isen’t there a manual reboot on that system? Even my amplifier has one. Also my boyfriend has a knock off fan that looks like a dyson but is not an air purifier that he bought 4 years ago for 20$ and that’s still working.
