What is the difference between Dyson HP09 and HP09 YY?
CARB lists Dyson HP09 as using mechanical filtration and HP09 YY as using electrical filtration. Are they not the same machine using same technique??

This appears to be an error - all Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool
Formaldehyde (HP09) machines share the same filtration method. Our HEPA H13 filter removes 99.95% of particles down to 0.1 microns per liter of air. They also capture 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns in size including common pollutants such as allergens, bacteria, viruses, pollen, and mold spores.
Our catalytic filter then breaks formaldehyde down into two safer molecules – trace amounts of carbon dioxide and water.
