I wish to raise a complaint regarding the ongoing problem with our v15 detect absolute +. For nearly 12 months we have been waiting for a replacement hose as ours had split . Every time we phoned up no one could tell us when the part would be in stock just advised us to call back in 2 weeks r someone would phone us but never did.
The most recent call we were offered a different hose in a different colour and much shorter , we said we were not happy with that . A repair was booked as they said the repair shop would be able to source the part, then After much deliberation someone decided to offer us a replacement which we accepted however the model sent is not the same as what we sent back . We specifically ordered the + model as it has an integrated crevice tool as I am disabled and struggle with my fingers so this machine makes it easier for me to.
We obviously rang up but staff could not understand what we were describing sending us instructions of how to attach the crevice tool.
We were then told that when the + comes back into stock we can swop it for the one sent.
I have been checking daily and it still hasn’t come into stock. The replacement hoover is no good for me and not what we sent back , I asked the man on the phone to send my original hoover back but he would t do that. We also asked if we could make a cash contribution and have the gen5 detect as this has the same integrated tool but again we were not allowed to.
Please can this matter be sorted out as I cannot keep calling in and I need to be able to hoover
