I had a tiny problem with my one year old V15 Detect. The purple sealing of the golden motor housing began to rib off over a range of approximately one centimeter. I was told to send the device to the Service Team here in Germany in order to let this deficiency being checked. After just three days I got back a completely new power unit having a red instead of a purple sealing and a more golden shining housing. In addition, a small sheet of paper was enclosed informing me about the differing colorization and giving me the opportunity to obtain a power unit with the original colorization after its availability if desired. 

I just want to say thank you for this great support. And just for your information: I will keep the new power unit. ;)

David here. It is great to see a good news story about Dyson. We all know that there are so many of them out there, it just easier to talk about the negatives sometimes. 

Maybe this is the start of a new thread - A Good news series.
