I pre ordered my Dyson Airstrait directly from Dyson , It worked for a few weeks then came up with the message “ RESET” - It had No power would not load the screen I was very frustrated as I had only use it a few times. I contacted Dyson they offered me a replacement which is exactly what happened .( Airstrait No 1)
The replacement would not even turn on no sound no screen nothing - so I contacted Dyson again and once again they offered a replacement ( Airstrait No 2)
The Airstrait No 3 arrived it worked for a few weeks I then went back to my Airwrap for a while and to my horror when I went to use the Airstrait again ( approx 10 day)It would not turn on no power just nothing .
I contacted Dyson again and they offered me a repair I accepted as I liked it the Airstrait when it worked but out of the 3 months I had used it 6 times I said could i have a credit note but they said this was not possible they would keep on repairing it until my original guarantee expired .
So number 3 was returned and I asked for a different colour as I thought it may be a batch but they said no so off it went for repair ,when it cam back I plugged it in turned it on it worked for a minute or 2 then something in the plug went “zap” and it never worked since,So I rang Dyson and demanded a different colour replacement which they finally agreed to .I was so happy when number 4 arrived but again I plugged it in and nothing ! no power No screen nothing (Yes I had done the plug checks and the checks with Dyson on the phone so today number 4 is going for a repair on 22/1/25 I would like to know if anyone out there can offer me some resolution to this I don’t know what else to do !
