Can I just start off by saying I love my cordless Dyson. It's been a god send...well...until recently.

Since the day it arrived I've been using it throughout the day for quick cleans around my downstairs having 4 active messy kids in the house. It's worked fine, then I took a break from using it for 3 weeks because I went in for surgery and was unable to lift it. Ever since then, when I press the trigger button it starts for a few seconds then stops. It'll do this stop/start thing for about 2 minutes then it works ok. If I change the setting to medium or boost it'll do the stop/start thing again. 

I did some research and found something about the machines algorithm so I followed the tips of charging the battery fully then using it until it was completely flat in one go, this still made no difference. 

I've cleaned all parts and there's definitely no blockages. It's really frustrating when I just want to give the floor a quick hoover but it takes longer than I hoped because the thing won't work!

I'm still in warranty, I purchased it in mid 2023.
