I know the earlier topic"Dyson V12 Detect Slim Warranty - Cyclone Rubber Sealant" is closed but strangely so dyson has not bothered to note and rectify the issue. I am having the same problem with my 5+ month old V12,S and it is disgraceful to see such poor quality standards followed for such a high priced product. It is truly disappointing to own a Dyson these days.

This is a response I got from their customer service team
"The inner foam material is just for visual appearance of the machine to give it a vibrant look and this would not affect the functionality and performance in any way."
Can someone explain "visual Appearance.. vibrant look " vs "worn out look " with 5 months of using.. is the vibrant look only to be seen at unboxing??
