I want to buy a replacement battery for my dyson hover but don't see where the version is. Can anyone help. The website shows a barcode with a serial just above it, it doesn't look anything like mine as I don't have a barcode. It could be that I already replaced the battery hence the reason my device doesn't have a barcode. Any help would be appreciated.

The Dyson V8 has two variations of the power pack, battery types E and D. Your serial number will determine the power pack you require.
