hi there, so I have watched ton of videos on how to use my Dyson. anytime I do my curls they last about an hour. my routine is washing my hairs, drying it about 70% dry, then I go in with mouse (amiga perfect volume mousse) curl my hair, then they would fall in like 30 minutes so recently I stated to hairspray them but the end up lasting like 30 minutes more. I have thick straight hair. does anyone have any recommendations?
Hi. Don’t ever use the cold shot button. The best way I’ve found to lock in curls is to cool them down on the barrel. This replicates the way that hot rollers work. I assume you’re using the air wrap? If so, just continue letting the hair wrap around the barrel after it’s fully dried. Hit the cold button and make sure the hair cools down before taking it off the barrel. This should help.
you also shouldn’t touch or pull on your hair too much right after it’s been curled. It needs time to set. 30 minutes should suffice. Best of luck!
