Here are a selection of tips that could help your robot maintain optimum cleaning performance in your home:
- Finding the ideal place for your dock is crucial. It should be set up in a location central to the home, where it can easily navigate to the areas you need it and be close to your Wi-Fi access point to avoid connection issues. Once you’ve found this location, read our ‘Setting up the dock’ article for what next.
- As the Robot vacuums operates autonomously, preparing your home ahead of a clean has never been more important. Obstacles, such as lose wires, chairs left out and even a drinks container on the floor could result in the machine not being able to clean or reach an area. To help you get started, read our 5 easy to follow steps on our ‘Preparing your home’ article.
- Cleaning the machine and the sensors regularly - Keeping the machine and it’s sensors clean, and clear of debris is more important than you might think. It ensures optimal performance of the robot and sensor accuracy, which impacts its overall navigation. Read the ‘Cleaning your robot and the sensor’ article for more information.
- Cleaning the machines filter(s) – This helps to maintain optimal performance and filtration of the machine. Read the ‘Cleaning the robot's filter(s)’ article to follow the In-App instructions on how to wash and dry the filters.
- Maintaining the brush bar and tracks – Regularly checking these areas for hair, dirt, and debris will help to ensure optimal collection. The In-App guide under ‘Using your robot’ will walk your through this process.
When checking the brush bar and tracks for hair, dirt, and debris, place the robot on a soft surface. This will avoid damaging the camera and sensors.
