Unable to add the HP00 to the Dyson App. Any Ideas?

Hi guys. I am a new user, I bought an HP00 air purifier and when I try to add it within the Dyson app (when entering the serial number) it tells me that it is wrong and I cannot add it, when chatting with support. Ivo tells me that there is a problem with this equipment but they do not give me a solution.Does anyone know how I can solve this? Thank you.

Trying to understand the "filter life" indicator on Dyson app.

Hello, I own a TP02 Pure Cool Link Air Purifier and I'm trying to understand how the air purifier "remaining use" is calculated. Early in 2022, the app. told me I have 55% filter life remaining. I do not know what happened but there was a disruption in power and after trying to reconnect the machine and app., the filter reset itself back to 100%! I'll take that mistake as I must have hit some button to reset the filter life indicator, is the only thing I can think of? Yesterday, the filter life was showing about 60% on the phone app. Today, a new router was installed for WiFi and the Dyson would not hook back up to the app so, the machine had to be "removed" from the app and reinstalled. Well, after I got it working again, the filter-life indicator on the app said it is at 98%?! So, in reality ( so sorry for this long post! )  that filter from early 2022, which had 55% filter life indicated, was unfortunately reset twice in a year span, is currently at 98%?! My point is , finally, that

HP09 - voice command to switch off heating and go back to standard auto mode?

Hi there, Having some problems trying to figure out voice commands on my HP09. I can easily tell Alexa to switch it to heating mode and set a temperature. But how the heck do you then get Alexa to go back to cooling/air purifier standard mode?  If I simply say “turn off heat” that shuts the whole machine down, so not really useful. If you then tell Alexa to turn it back on, it goes right back to heating mode.   Is it possible to do this via voice? Thanks :)

Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link™ Oscillation degrees settings - Any suggestions on a fix?

Product is Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link™ HP02 purifier heater (White/Silver), Serial number:F3H-US-PHA5515BThe initial setup allowed me to set the degree of oscillation. I can no longer enter the degree of oscillation mode. When I press the oscillation button, the machine just oscillates or stops oscillating with no option to change the degree of oscillation. In the Dyson App, I don’t see any option to change the degree of oscillation either.Is there a real solution to this issue other than re-doing the product's initial setup?

HP02 in Auto mode stops completely while TP07 does not

I’ve bought last months a TP07 and today I added to another room also an HP02. They behave differently in Auto mode. In the TP07 the Auto mode increases or decrease the fan speed but always continues to run and the oscillation (which I set to be on) always continues. The HP02 on the other hand seems to stop completely both the fan and the oscillation when I set it to auto mode. Which behavior is the correct one? Any place I can find an explanation?Freddy

MyDyson app cannot control temperature

I’ve just bought a Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link HP02. I’ve added it to MyDyson app but the app does not seem to have control for the heating feature. If I want to set heating and select temperature I have to go to the remote control. Do I miss something?Freddy

Why does the screen dim on my Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ heater purifier?

My HP01 when the temperature is set at any heating temperature setting in about 10 seconds it dims and can’t read it even though room temperature is not at that setting.(Moderation edit - title updated)

Purifier connecting to wifi but not the app

Hi I have a 2017 Hot+Cool purifier that I have lost the remote for due to moving house. I can connect the machine but once it’s connected the app just goes back to the ‘add a machine’ page and I’m unable to use the app as the remote. Any idea how I can get it to actually connect to completion? Additionally, if I just get a replacement remote will they still work on my machine? thanks

connecting the AM09 to mydyson app, serial number not recognised - Suggestions?

Hello. I have a Hot+Cool Jet Focus AM09 fan heater and when I enter the serial number on the MyDyson app, the serial number isn’t recognised. I’m certain the serial number is entered correctly.   Is there another way to link the fan to the app please?

Dysons Air Purification Range are missing a trick.

Good evening to the community, I don't know if this has been discussed before but the lack of Homekit integration with the Dyson purifier range is somewhat disappointing, the sensors / data is there as other Homekit bridges can bring this information across from the purifier to the home application but it unfortunately isn't native support, I'm sure other users who use the home application on iOS would like to see a feature update to their purifiers to be able to access the data and control the purifier from the home app, somehow the Siri shortcuts just don't give the same user experience as what this integration would! Anyone else's thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! 👍

separate hot / cold temperatures & Fan control

Just received my H09 Purifier Heat and Cooling And it’s working as described HoweverIt would be a much better experience if there was a function to just set a temperature and let the machine work Automatically I have already noticed that there’s a post on Heating fan speed It’s To late for the remote but it should be able to be incorporated in the AppOne Temperature controller One Heat button One Cooling buttonOne Fan Speed One Auto button

No control over fan speed in HP04

I have an HP04 and it does not allow me to set a low fan speed when set to heating mode. I understand from several other posts on here that this behavior is intentional, but I don’t see how this makes sense. Why have a fan speed setting if it doesn’t actually control the fan speed? I want a small amount of heat and a small amount of airflow, not to hear a loud blaring fan as soon as I turn it on 1 degree over the room temperature, and not to get zero heat if I set the heat to the same temperature as the room. The machine is clearly capable of a lower fan speed, because when you set the heat to the same temperature as the room, the fan slows down. Allow us to actually control this, and let the machine decide its own fan speed when it’s set to “auto” setting, not when we’re manually controlling the fan speed. (and the machine’s software is updateable - so you could fix this with a software tweak, and given the number of other topics on this board that have asked for this, you should)
