Air Treatment - Autoreact buzzing. Is this normal?

I bought my cool auto react purifying fan - everything works brilliantly. But when it’s plugged in and inactive it emits a notable humming sound which is quite annoying - especially at night. Is it meant to do that?  Is that a sign that it’s actually doing / monitoring something and not altogether inactive at all? (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Title Updated)

Dyson humidifier - Are there any ill effects from running a cleaning cycle without the cleaning packet?

I just got my dyson machine and I pressed the clean button not knowing what it does and I ran a clean cycle without the cleaner packet. Can someone tell me what effects this will have on my machine?

Dyson Purifier HP09 Formaldehyde catalytic filters - New design, is it okay to use?

Hello, I have just received my Dyson HP09 formaldehyde purifier and I have noticed that the catalyst filters are totally different than what I have seen online and on the Dyson YouTube videos. Could someone please confirm if I have received the wrong filters or have Dyson changed them? Purifier Humidifier - issues galore - Advise wanted!

Says it’s obstructed but it’s not.  says it’s empty, but it’s full. No obstruction. Ran a deep clean cycle last month. Nothing has worked since then. Yay! (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Title Updated)

Dyson Purifier Humidify & Cool Formaldehyde

Dyson Purifier Humidify & Cool Formaldehyde and the humidifier stopped working after a month of use. The water tank is full, it’s water level does not change even after running continuously for 24/7 on the 70% humidity setting. The humidity doesn’t exceed 53% while on the 70% humidity setting. The room size is tiny “10’2” X 13’. ”I ran a deep cleaning cycle with no change in the humidifiers status after the cleaning cycle. I purchased this Dyson Purifier Humidify & Cool Formaldehyde product primarily for the humidifier function. All I have now is a very expensive paper weight fan. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase! (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)

PH02 Alerts flash by too quickly - What to do?

My PH02 is intermittently flashing the triangle with exclamation point alert. If I have the app open I get a pop up but it goes away before I can read it.   Is there a way to go review old alerts? Or to make them latch until I acknowledge them? I would really like to know what’s happening with this one so I can fix it.

TP09 - Filter looks NEW after a year of use

I’m approaching a year in March since I purchased my TP09, I leave it on auto 24/7, so I bought a replacement filter even though I did not get a warning yet that it needs to be changed, but I have pets, live in Florida and there’s always a lot of dust around since I’m close to construction areas, and my boyfriend’s allergies were acting up when he was at my place.  I went to remove the old filter and it looks BRAND NEW.  Not one speck of dust after a year of use, sparkling white as if I just unboxed it.  Is my TP09 just blowing air this whole time and not actually filtering anything?  Looks like I’ve had a defective unit all along which explains why I have not seen any improvements in air quality.  What can I do?  How can I test it?  I leave it in auto mode all the time.

Purifier - Filter Status Issue?

I have two air purifiers, a Dyson Pure Cool Link and a Dyson Pure Hot+Cool.  The Cool Link, which I purchased in November of 2020, shows me the filter status in the app.  Currently, I still show 11% life on that original filter.  However, the Hot+Cool, which I purchased in April of 2022, just shows 0%, which cannot be right.  It’s as if it does not even recognize that there’s a filter in there.  In the app, the “Continuous monitoring” switch is in the “on” position, but the “Filter management” section, is just “grayed out” and does not respond.  Any suggestions on how to correct that? (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)

Purifyers stopped humidifying after filter replacement

Hi, I have two purify and cool machines that I run constantly in the winter. They were both working fine until they indicated that (first) deep cleans and (then) new filters were required. I did the cleans and then replaced the filters. Now they are indicating that they are humidifying but the water tanks remain full despite the room humidity being well below the set level (70%).  Has anyone else experienced this issue after replacing the filter? Thanks.

Blown Fuse on Pure Hot and Cold

Just the title really, I went downstairs to find my Pure Hot and Cold had been turned off. I pulled out the plug and there was a black mark at the socket and the fuse part of the plug didn’t look right. I’m no electrician but I’m guessing this is a blown fuse. Pics below. I’m just posting for some help and to figure out what my options are. I purchased it directly from Dyson on 25 November 2020. Thanks  (Edited by moderator – Moved to a new category)

Combined Vs Dual Filter - Purifier Display

Hi guys, I have a hot and cool air purifier that is about 3 years old. The design for the hepa and carbon filters has changed. Ive changed the filters to the new style but now i get this error message which flashes in the dark where my daughter is sleeping. Anychance how to keep it off? I replaced the filters on my air purifier with heat but it's still showing I need to replace them. I have unplugged and plugged back in to no avail.

DP04 Maintenance

My DP04 HEPA is starting to produce a high frequency sound on speeds 1-3 and it’s been getting worse over time. Is there a way to fix this issue? I’ve had the unit for a little over a year so it seems very premature to have to replace it. (Edited by moderator – tags added)

humidifier tank in summer

I don’t need the humidifier in the summer months.  Can I leave the tank empty and the humidifier setting turned off or is there a better way to keep the machine in its best condition while not in use?(Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Is it safe to have Dyson HP04 running 24/7?

Hi everyone,I Just got the HP04 and placed it on the Master Bedroom & have been using it since the day it was delivered. This triggered the question if running the Humidifier 24/7 set to 40% and the Purifier in Auto Mode will damage my HP04; granted that whenever the Air Quality settings have been reached my HP04 goes into Standby Mode; still I’m concerned that not turning off my damage it. What is Dyson recommendation on the continuous and/or uninterrupted usage for the HP04? Is it Ok to not turn it off? Should i just limit the usage to 12 hours intervals per day?Thank you all in advance for your help and input.Cheers!(Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Filter Upgrade - Combined filter vs duel use - Not represented in the IOS app

I own a Dyson Pure Cool. Since Dyson has done away with producing 2x seperate filters for this model (HEPA and Carbon Filter) and have amalgamated both into one filter.This change has not been implemented into the IOS App, specifically when you click on the cog icon top right and go into the ‘your machine settings’ then scroll down to ‘Air’ heading and click on ‘Filter management’…..the app still shows the device as having seperate filters, which by the way you need to reset filter life on each one. Even though as mentioned it is now only one filter. Will this be changed? There is also the heading ‘using your machine’ that also refers to 2x seperate filters that needs to be changed.(Edited by moderator – tags added)

Water tank and humidity level - Decreasing at a slow rate

Hello, we have been using our Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool Formaldehyde for a month and a half, and the water tank is still full since the first time of use. The machine never goes above 30% of humidity, our living room is approx 16’-7’’ X 18’-0’’ and we tried in a small room and even doesn't work ( the bedroom is 13’-0’’X 14’-8’’). The machine works every day for 15 hours and is always in automatic mode and the fan is always in level 10. What can I do? Thank you.  ML.
