Dyson Superson, shocking customer Service

I own 2 Dyson products and have been a loyal Dyson fan for the last 8years. My experience with trying to get a replacement for my Dyson supersonic has been extremely frustrating:8th April - called Dyson customer service, spoke to a lady who took me through checks and then advised she is sending out a replacement for my Dyson Supersonic. very pleasant and helpful 19th April - call back to customer services as the hairdryer has not turned up, am advise that as the colour of the replacement was not in stock, so the order was cancelled (no one sent a message). I state that I don’t mind what colour hairdryer I get I just need a replacement as I would like to wash my hair. The customer service lady goes away and checks stock, advises me that they have stock and she will send out again. Very Pleasant and helpful 24th April 8;30am - call customer services, who looks at the notes and advises that the colour that I want is not in stock, I state that the colour doesn’t matter and she starts sayin

Dyson V10 does not charge

HiFirst of all I have to apologise if there are faults in language and grammar,This is caused because I am german.my V10 cleaner does not charge always. Sometimes if the plug of the charger is inserted into the socketon the V10 the blue lights do not flash. If I wiggle the plug several times it starts charging.so it seems that the socket at the unit is defective, I checked visually but there is nothing to be seen.maybe someone does know how to fix this problem.! curls not holding

hi there, so I have watched ton of videos on how to use my Dyson. anytime I do my curls they last about an hour. my routine is washing my hairs, drying it about 70% dry, then I go in with mouse (amiga perfect volume mousse) curl my hair, then they would fall in like 30 minutes so recently I stated to hairspray them but the end up lasting like 30 minutes more. I have thick straight hair. does anyone have any recommendations?

V11 Absolute cyclone replacement cant be found

Hi everyone. I have a Dyson V11 Absolute nickel/blue from 2021 and the cyclone/ handheld unit needs replacing. This is because the electrical connection into the wand is faulty and it no longer turns the brush heads. I’ve contacted Dyson and they sent a replacement which I had to pay for. The replacement doesnt fit my existing battery as it has a different underside to the handle. My model has no protruding elements but the replacement has two little protruding bits. See attached picture. Dyson seem unable to find a replacement cyclone in my style and don’t understand the problem despite me sending the photo. Can anyone help me on how I find a solution? Many thanks

Dyson DC40 Combination Tool

Hello everyone,Can anyone help me, please? I am new to using this machine, and having extended the tool out fully, I now cannot return it to it’s original, un-extended shape. There is a grey indented area, where it looks like I should push down to return it to it’s un-extended shape, but it doesn’t seem to work. I have used later models of the DC, where the tool has a red button, which is very easy to work, but having problems using my own! Thank you for any help!

Happy with my purchase so far. However, I’ve only used my vacuum 3x now for about 15m each time in the past week. I’ve noticed bruising in my right hand between thumb and index finger. Has anyone else experienced the same? Any tips on how to hold it?

tips on how to style short wavy hair

I have used a brush and hairdryer to blow dry my hair for years. My hair is short/medium length and is very curly if left to its own devices. As it is fine and therefore flyaway, I wanted to try the supersonic styler to see if it would improve the style to be more wavy than curly, and less dry and flyaway on the ends. I was disappointed to see there were no options in the videos to guide me on this. I ended up with a 2ft high bouffant with the diffuser, calmed it down with the smaller defuser and a brush, then smoothed it out (somewhat) with the smoothing attachment, which gave it a similar look to what I wanted to achieve, it is very tempting to just go back to what I have been doing for years - hairdryer and brush. The hairdryer itself does seem to be less damaging, and is quieter than my normal hairdryer. Please can we have some models with shorter and curly or wavy hair?to straighten hair and also to do a smooth wavy style I would be so grateful, thank youLyn C

Dyson cable tangled and won't swivel - any solutions?

My dyson airwrap was purchased 2 years ago and over time it has been a bit tangled. The worst of it is that now the end of the wire doesn’t swivel while I am using the airwrap. I need to manually twist it around in order to use it. Has anyone else experienced this and know of a solution?

I’m having trouble opening the motorbar head to clean it. Although I use a coin to twist the side panel, it rotates to a point, but the panel does not pop out. What else can I do to open it?

Good battery, clean machine, but cuts out.

V10 Animal Purple cordless. Battery indicates it is charged. It is clean and filter is clean. When I pull the trigger it starts but immediately stops. However, if I hold my hand over the front (where attachments are attached) to seal off suction, it will run until I remove my hand and then it immediatelly stops. during the time it is running there are two blue lights.

Terrible Customer Service Experience

A couple of months ago my machine would turn off after a few minute of use. I called Dyson and the tech ran me through some steps and said it was the main unit while I thought it was the battery. I purchased a new main unit. It worked for some time and now I have the same issue. It stops after a minute of use. I have tried for more than a week to get someone on the phone without success. The wait times are 60 minutes without a call back option. I tried the automated text method that said it was the battery and that someone would contact me in 24-48 hours which did not happen. If it is the battery, I don't think I should pay again when I was told it was the main unit. This is the worst customer service experience that I have had in a long time.

Cleaning the cyclone on a V6

Please can you tell me how do I clean all the clogged fine dust that is behind the mesh on the cyclone? The instructions say to use the brush attachment but I need to get the contents from inside out. When I shake it, some dust comes out a bit like shaking flour through a sieve but some of it has clogged and won't move.Any tips would be welcome.

Hi there, my Dyson v6 has stopped working, I've cleaned it, and it still seems to be charging when I connect it, but when I hold the trigger, the blue light on my v6 flashes 7 times, does anyone know what the problem is please ?(Moderation edit - title updated)

Recycle refund £65 incentive- terrible customer service and still no money back

Has anyone else experienced absolutely terrible customer service from Dyson regarding their recycle refund service initiative of £65 back. I’ve contacted customer service three times now asking where my refund is as it was supposed to arrive in 14 days and yet it’s been over a month. Everyone I speak to says someone will call within 48 hours and each time I receive absolutely nothing. I’m getting increasing frustrated and getting absolutely nowhere with customer service? Anyone else?
