vacuum attachments - adding magnets

Add tiny magnets to attachments and then store your attachments anywhere you have a thin sheet of metal on a wall. No need for any plastic attachment holder. Half inch round disc magnets work great and look elegant (if you see them at all). Amazon charges $10.88 for 20. Screws are extra (need tiny 1/2” long wood screws). Attach about 1.5” down from connecting end of attachment so does not interfere with connecting with vacuum. Then get any thin sheet metal (hardware store perforated steel sheets work great … maybe 1/8” thick plates used for construction).

TRIANGLE ADAPTOR for low reach floor tool, DC17

My old DC17 is still chugging along, full steam.  One of the best purchases ever, probably 15 yrs ago or longer.The cracked ‘triangle’ adaptor for the low-reach floor tool, however, finally gave up the ghost after years of survival, thanks to a zealous GorillaTape job.  I ordered a replacement from a source called vacuumdirect.com… DO NOT USE these people.  Vacdirect.com is one of those companies that will ship out anything, regardless of whether or not it’s correct.  The’re the parts equivalent of having a ‘warm body’ on the end of a support line who has zero knowledge and a bad attitude, lol. Adaptor trianglePart no. 907036-03 What I did find was a source for this adaptor on Fleabay.  It hasn’t arrived yet, but I will update when it comes. Dyson’s ‘contact us’ page has only social media links, no email.  But they do have a phone, CST zone.  I haven’t called… they’re just gonna say they don’t make it anymore.If you’re gonna build a product of this high quality, that seems to last ‘for

Stains on Dyson Airwrap multi-styler in color blue/blush

Hello! I bought a Dyson verified travel case for my Airwrap and is causing blue stains on the pink part of it, can’t remove them with anything, I thought the case will take care of my Dyson, I just got it on December last year, someone knows if this apply for the guarantee? thank you.

corrale problems

Hello,I am just curious to know if anyone else is having the same problems I am having? I have had to exchange my Coreale at least three times now because the cord stops charging or there is a short that won’t hold the cord in place. I use my flat iron every single day and the magnetic thing isn’t holding anymore. This has happened 3 different times!  It’s frustrating that this is a $500 flat iron and I constantly have problems with it. I love the way it styles my hair but it’s frustrating that it won’t stay plugged in! I have the air wrap and the blow dryer, obviously no problems with those.. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Can I use my Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer from Japan in the US?

Hi,I recently bought a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer in Japan and bought it over to the US. When I was talking to the salesperson at the place of purchase, they told me that it should work since the power supply range is the same. However, when I plug in my hair dryer at home it doesn’t work at all. The voltage stated on the hair dryer is 100V 50-60 Hz. Please help!

Dyson upright vaccum cleaner differences - UK models? I have the UP32 which I think is the Dyson animal

Hi allI have recently purchased this Dyson Ball Animal from Costco - https://www.costco.co.uk/Home-Kitchen/Dyson-Ball-Animal-Upright-Vacuum-Cleaner-with-Whole-Home-Cleaning-Kit/p/9237The box arrived today and it says it is the Dyson UP32 SILNK UK (I'm assuming this is the UP 32 model which is the £279.99 Dyson Ball Animal model on the Dyson website), however I am worried I have an older model as the box says it Dyson 2021 for the yearMy questions are therefore as follows:Is the Dyson UP32 the Dyson Ball Animal that is £279.99 on the Dyson website? What are the differences between the 4 upright Dyson models? Dyson Ball Animal, Dyson Ball Animal origin, Dyson Ball Animal multi floor and Dyson Ball animal complete? Do they all have the same power/suction features?Thanks!

auto setting and air quality isnt working

Hi, I bought the new Dyson hot+cool generation 1 air purifier. I bought this fan because I have a premature baby and wanted to ensure the room temperate and air flow/quality is alway at its best.  since using it, I’ve had it on the auto setting the whole day and the air quality is fine. At night and the air levels are always red & really high! The room is a decent size, always clean and vacuumed.  I have the temperature on 22 degrees. The baby is sleeping in our room and I find I often wake up cause it’s too hot or too cold. If I drop the temperature to 21, it’s really cold, if I increase it 23 it gets to hot. Sometimes the air blowing is on the highest (I get that it’s trying to control the temperature) but again I wake up cause it becomes way too hot for the baby. I just can’t get it on the right level for the room. I want to leave this fan in the nursery but I’m worried that it won’t have a consistent temperature or air quality for the babyim not sure why the air quality has bee

Hi, just wanted to know when the Dyson Airstrait will be released in Australia/New Zealand. I currently live in NZ and the local home appliance shops have told me (Harvey Norman, Farmers) that it will be released soon—hopefully before May. Is this true? Thanks :)

Round and round with customer service

My wife dropped her hair dryer. it did no turn on. i brought it to the service center in fairfax, va. they could not fix it and it was still under warranty so they promised to ship us a new one. the replacement came in the mail two days later and was damaged with no cover even on the filter. i brought the replacement damaged hair dryer back to the service center in fairfax, va and they promised to send me a brand new one to replace the damaged one. that was one month ago and we still have not received anything. when i went back to the fairfax va store, the tech gave me a faulty replacement i.d. that was associated with another customer. I chatted with Dyson customer service yesterday for one hour and Dyson promised to emal me with a resolution - so far nothing!!!

Poor Customer Support

Hi All, I must admit I am shocked at the standard of customer service and having investigated more it looks like I am not on my own! How can such a reputable company stand over such bad CS practices? The product I have ordered is very expensive in my opinion and for premium products and the claims made on your website I would expect a much higher standard. I have had a Dyson machine for over 10 years now and I am very happy with the product itself and decided to upgrade as the one I have is not lasting the time needed to a full house clean. I ordered the new Dyson online and as stated on the website expected a 2 day delivery - why make these claims if you cannot stand over them!!I have contacted CS twice to be told the same thing please wait 24 hours having read through other complaints I am fearful now having invested this money in a new Dyson with the level of support being offered.What are Dyson doing to remedy this? Thanks,Sinead

Airwrap is not working for my hair texture

I have had the airwrap for about 6 months now, and I am struggling with it. I have thick hair and a lot of it. It’s not curly but more wavy and very frizzy. I have tried different products and methods but the air wrap just leaves my hair poofy and frizzy. I always have flyways that I can’t take. The style also doesn’t last for me. If I use the barrel it only lasts until the end of the day. If I use the round brush again it only lasts until the end of the day. And I can never get my hair to be smooth and shiny like I can with other heat tools. Help!!

dyson 360 vis nav skipping rooms

hi all,I got the robot recently and let it map my 90 square feet flat. The map looks ok but I am having a problem getting the robot to clean 2 specific rooms (bed room and kitchen)  when I tell the robot to clean all, all rooms will be cleaned.When I ask the robot to clean the living room or the bedroom only it refuses. The robot basically undock, move few cms and then return back to the dock saying it couldn’t find the rooms. i deleted the map and created a new one. now the robot can clean the living room on it is own but still refuses to enter and clean my bedroom.  if I remove the bed room divider and include the floor with the bed room it also works but this is stupid.  any ideas ? With my precious robots (Roomba and roborock) I didn’t face such issues :(.

Dyson airwrap purchased in the US and doesnt work in the philippines. what to do?

Hi. Im new to the community. My aunt in the US recently purchased a dyson complete airwrap as a gift for us and brought it here in the Philippines. Unfortunately, we cant use it here due to the difference in voltage. Asked dyson philippines customer care if they can swap or recommend any transformer converter but they said that its best to ask Dyson US on it. Is there any particular brand of transformer or coverter available in the philippines that we can purchase to make this work here? I know we can no longer use the warranty since its only valid in the US and we can bo longer return it to US too since the number of days for return already lapsed so we are just exhausting means to make it work here in the Philippines. Any leads eill be greatly appreciated. We just dont wanna wast the money spent on this dyson so we better make this work here.

Has anyone successfully received an email address  To make a complaint? I do not want a telephone number as I just go round in circles given the same information and assurances over and over again. Even when I asked for an email address, it was not the correct one, and bounced. I have asked to speak to a manager and I have been assured on several occasions that they will call me, and never have. I only want an email address to put my complaint in writing. This has gone on for long enough. I sent my hoover to them for repair at the end of January. I am still waiting. All the chasing has been by me and no one I speak to has any records of conversations. I am beyond frustrated.

How to deal with Dyson’s terrible customer service?

I bought a Dyson Purifier Big + Quiet on March 11.   The order confirmation said: "Shipping within 3-7 business days, plus processing time."  It still hasn't shown up and this is almost 2 months from when I ordered it.    I have tried to get help from Dyson from both live chat and phone on multiple occasions but haven't been able to get anyone who could help.  I have gotten 3 emails from them over the past 2 months, each saying my expected date for my purchase had changed and I should expect it in 7-10 Business Days.   It still hasn’t arrived.  Today I finally got someone on the phone who told me he couldn’t find my order.   When I told him I wasn’t hanging up and didnt trust him to call back or email me a response, he put me on hold for a long time and spoke to the warehouse.   He said my order was shipped and should arrive tomorrow.  I’ll believe that when I see it.   Is there any way to get this company to treat its customers better?   I am appalled at how hard it is to get a produc

V15 bin / cannister fills at the top only.

I purchased two v15s last year (2023). When I reported the issue of cannister filling at top only to Dyson a couple of months ago, with a photo, the agent immediately diagnosed loose suction and sent me a replacement bin. Last week I noticed the same thing happening to my other v15. However yesterday the Dyson agent said there was nothing wrong with the bin and wouldn’t replace it. She wanted me to bring it to a Dyson dealer. I don’t have time to drive 40 mins to the nearest dealer (2x - drop-off and pick-up) for an issue that has already been diagnosed BY DYSON.I’ve completed all the trouble-shooting and cleaning. How can I simply get a replacement bin for my still-under-warranty machine?

Frizz and Dyson Airwrap

I have recently purchased the Dyson air wrap and although initially I was impressed with results with continued usage I find that my hair are more frizzy and dry. Has anyone else experienced it. I usually just like a smooth hair as my hair are naturally wavy but it's becoming so frizz prone despite products and conditioner that I am having to use my straighteners after which defeats the purpose of protecting hair. Please help, as starting to wonder if I have made a mistake buying it.
