Continous monitoring is on, but not working

I just bought a Dyson Air Purifyer, it’s been running for an hour now.In the app, in settings (“Your machine’s settings”) the “Continuous monitoring” setting is ticked on (the little circle is on the right and has a dark violet colour).However, in the main dashboard, I see no graphs and I get the message “No data has been recorded. You can check the status of continuous monitoring in settings.”.How can I “record data”?(Edited by moderator – tags added)

Repair Service Fiasco!! Courier Collection.

Hello, has anyone had repair collection issues from Dyson.  I booked in my Dyson 2 weeks ago for a collection for repair and today was the FOURTH collection slot booked and still not collected! I’ve called Dyson numerous times and been on hold for hours over the last 2 weeks trying to resolve issue and still no resolution to this issue! I have always bought Dyson hoovers and I am fast losing faith in this company! Anyone else had issues and any advice very welcome? Perhaps I should just buy a new Shark hoover instead of wasting my time! 😖. Bring back the Dyson engineers who visited your home pre- Covid to fix Dyson hoovers!  (Moderation Edit - Tags Added, Title Amended)

Refund Help

Hi, i am having problems getting my refund back, its been 17days now and dyson told me 14 days which is breaking there policy . Now there telling me i have to wait another 14 days for my refund . They promise call backs and emails but yet i have none, and there customer service is shocking.  Need help getting money back

I will never buy a Dyson product again - refund is a joke

I see all the negative feedback from the community regarding a refund, I’m experiencing exactly the same ….and on principle will never buy a Sir Dyson product again.I’m sure Sir Dyson would be delighted to hear that the company name he has built up is in such poor hands.I’m looking forward to a personal call back from Sir Dyson to apologies and thank me for flagging this

Lost/Missing Package - What should I do?

I recently ordered an item online and I received an email stating that it was delivered. I originally checked the secured mail room but I could not find it. I then walked around my apartment building to see if they left it outside, but still I could not find it. I spoke with management who stated they will keep an eye out for my package. My building is an apartment building with several other businesses below it. My apartment has a sign posted to notice all delivery drivers to place any packages in the "SECURED" mail room, as the front lobby is unsecured. My guess is that my package was either stolen orthe delivery driver dropped it off to the wrong location. I purchased this item as a gift for this weekend but looks like I won't be getting it on time. I then had to spend more money to buy another one in-store for a more secure purchase.I submitted a status check on the delivery but I did not receive any response yet. I just spent twice the amount for one item. I don't want to do a cha

HP04 high pitched humming sound whilst in quiet/night mode

I love my Dyson as a purifier/heater, but it’s always made an intermittent humming noise when it’s on low speed. It’s really annoying and I can only sleep in the same room if I use ear plugs. It’s not a very loud noise, just an annoying one that fades in and out all the time. Does anyone know what’s causing this?(Edited by moderator – tags added)

How can I obtain an update on a refund status?

I returned my Dyson airwrap almost a month ago, and I have not received my refund of $599.  I got an email stating that it was received at the warehouse and my refund will be processed in 7-10 business days.  It’s been over 14 days.  I have never had such a rotten experience with any company, especially not one as well known as Dyson.  Every time I called I get a different answer, I want my money back.

Worst customer service ever, never buying from Dyson again

I am just baffled by the level of utter inefficiency and incompetence at Dyson. Where to begin: beginning of May I called about my hair dryer that stopped working (not even been a year), and they kindly offered to replace it. I send it via UPS with the label provided, and dont hear back for weeks. I called again, and finally was given tracking info for the replacement unit, only to find out several days later that it went back to the sender as sender requested it. ?????? I called and was told to wait 24 hrs, called again after a few days of nothing and was told another 24, and so on. The email service is just useless garbage, just wasted my time on it. I was just on the phone again (they told me I had called 9 times within this month) and was told to wait 8-10 business days. 2 months without resolution. Unbelievable. I am telling everyone I know not to buy from Dyson.  (Edited by Moderator - Tags Added)

How to contact Dyson with complaint

I want to purchase a new screw in battery for a V11 vacuum.  The Dyson webpage states it is out of stock and so enter an email address and will be advised when the item is available. However I do get n email stating its back in stock but the link does not work. I then use the web browser version and get to the correct page - the item is ‘Out of Stock’ .   How can I email Dyson to complain?

Feedback on Contacting Dyson - January 2023

How do I contact someone to raise a complaint? Whatsapp doesnt work, there is no live chat, no email address and the phone line rings constantly to tell me my wait time is 28 minutes. It's told me that since 08.00hrs this morning (Moderation Edit - Amended Title to include Month)

location data doesn’t update

Hi. When I set my home town as my location, the temperature, pollen count etc show up, but after a while it stops updating. I can only get current data by going back into settings and putting the same location in again. Is there an easier way to update, and/or is it a flaw in the app?

How do I speak with the Dyson complaints team?

I have had several calls with Dyson phone line and literally 200+ Whatsapp messages. All trying to get my vacuum working. I have been told to buy and have bought: a new motor, new powerhead, new filter. It has been returned to Dyson and returned to me not working. I have continually asked to speak to complaints team. I have been promised call backs repeatedly but they have never happened. I have wasted so much effort and money since December. How do I speak to someone who can help: manager or complaints team.

Customer Service SO TERRIBLE

What is going on with Dyson???  I created an order in error and immediately contacted Customer Service.  The phone rep said she would cancel the order, which she did not.  When the item was received, I returned the item immediately.  It has been over 35 days since Dyson received the hair dryer at its warehouse.  I have spoken to multiple reps, sometimes for over an hour to try and resolve.  No one can advise as to why I have not received my refund of $548.  Online chat is even worse, with truly incompetent employees and terrible waits.  Honestly the worst chat experiences ever.Dyson has the most awful customer service I have ever experienced, and I don’t understand why.  The products are so high end, but customer service means long waits to access an agent, no resolution, and even longer waits to actually get a refund.  It makes me question whether Dyson is a good company.  If I can’t even get my money back (supposedly a simple transaction), how in the world would Dyson ever be able to

Dyson Cordless vacuums: Wall Dock Installation PollCOMMUNITY POLL

With the third in the series of our owners polls rolling out, we’re focusing this one on the Wall Dock that comes included with the Dyson Cordless vacuum cleaners.In my opinion, the dock that comes with the Cordless vacuum cleaners is super simple storage and charging solution - I’ve installed my own and have two of the tools I use regularly attached.  It’s easy to assume that everyone who has a Wall Dock has installed it, but that might not be the case.I’m very keen to start focusing our community resource in the creation of more engaging and support related content, including highlighting the instructions for dock installation across the range. I’ve love to hear how many of you, that own a Cordless vacuum cleaner have installed the Wall Dock. I’ve included an ‘Other’ option and left the comments open - if you have anything feedback or use a different storage method, please let me know by leaving a reply or drop us a photo of where you’ve installed yours.

Dyson delivery - UPS - Terrible experience. Pease help!

I am just baffled by the level of utter inefficiency and incompetence at Dyson. Where to begin: My order number is (Removed sensitive information). I received my UPS tracking number(Removed sensitive information) that showed delivered on the 06/26/23, but I never received my machine, so I call Dyson asking for assistance on 06/28/23. That was my first call and after that I called several times (in total 10 times) for the update on the same issues, still the issue is pending. In every call some new representative come and never able to give me any specific answers or able to resolve my concerns. They were all trying to just dodging calls. After my second call I asked for their supervisor, but they never transferred my calls to supervisors. In my 5th called they told me to call the UPS so I called the UPS and they issued the claim for the same and they approved the claim on 07/10/23 and still Dyson failed to refund me my money. Dyson price NZ vs AUS: both on sale, 25% more in NZ!!

I am on my third Dyson - in US and now New Zealand, but now considering getting something else.  My current V8 needs replacing, the second battery is iffy, and I have to go over areas too many times. I’m a bit frustrated as I would like to buy Dyson, and in Australia they have good sales, but in NZ they never match… so the outcome is while I would like to buy another Dyson, I will likely end up buying something else.  Maybe their marketing dept will see this.The exchange rate is 1 $NZ = 0.922 $AUSo, in $US…The price for Gen5Detect is almost 25% more in NZ than AUS:Aus price is $US 636.52NZ price is $US 794.74.I wonder if someone in Dyson can explain?#1 Current sale in Austalia: #2 New Zealand

Customer Support Not Efficient at all

So I placed an order on Cyber Monday. There was a problem with the discount code. I called twice Dyson support two weeks ago. They promised they would deal with the problem and I would receive an email within 24-48 hours. Two weeks have passed and there has no response at all. It’s such as waste of customer’s time.

Delivery - How do I get a shipping update?

I placed an order for V8 ABSOLUTE on the 15th of this month and when I did, it said that expected delivery was Tuesday (18th) so I was expecting to received an email with tracking number right away. Today is the 19th and I still haven’t received an email. Is this normal when ordering directly from Dyson.com? (Edited by moderator – Tags added and Title amended)

Reading Calibration Question - VOCs

Hello, We are monitoring VOC levels in a certain room since painting 3 weeks ago. Last night after closing the windows, the VOC readings in the room shot up to 5 and HCHO was 0. I tried to adjust the fan speed on my app and accidentally powered off the machine, but I immediately turned it back on. Since it was turned off though, for the past 8 hours the VOC levels have been 0 and the HCHO levels went up to .020. Why is it telling me no VOCs are present now but Formaldehyde is? I am confused and this makes me not trust the machine, which we are using to monitor our future nursery. We are using the PH04 model.  (Edited by moderator – Tag and Title amended)
