Can Dyson vacuum cleaner be used internationally with varying voltages? Specifically brought in Japan and use in India

Hi I plan to purchase a Dyson vacuum cleaner in Japan (which is on 110v) and use in India(220v). Can the concerned confirm if using an adaptor or charger would suffice or if this won't work entirely. Should the battery pack be purchased locally in India? Thanks

Trouble getting through to Dyson (Phoneline, Twitter and WhatsApp) No reply in over an hour - Any suggestions?

Today I phoned the helpline at least a dozen times and got the message that they were closed for the evening. But it is nowhere near 8pm. The Ask Dyson Twitter system sent a generic reply to my first message but has not responded to my questions. The WhatsApp chat system sent two basic messages in an hour and a half which did not even start to address the problem I have with my Dyson vacuum. On all other occasions when I phoned the helpline I received prompt, friendly and great advice but today I cannot get any help at all. Dyson charge a premium price for their products and I have been a loyal customer for years. Today I have found the level of help to be totally useless. How do I get to speak to someone?

V11 Cordless Absolute Vacuum - Power switching off/on

I have owned a V11 for 3 years and it has just started to give me problems. It was initially cutting out and not charging, I followed the steps on the Dyson Support pages and concluded that I needed a new Main Body & Cyclone, which I purchased about 2 weeks ago. Everything seemed fine for a week but was not charging correctly so I have replaced the battery only today. It is not charging properly - the blue LEDs come on for approx 10 seconds then go off for approx 20 seconds then come back on for 10 seconds and this cycle just repeats itself. I have removed it from the charging holster and plugged the charger into the V11 directly but it is still the same. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be? (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Dyson is not the Best. Do not buy!!!

This Dyson was purchased for my daughter who is a hairstylist and was told Dyson was the best. She maintained the dryer every week and it worked until 1 month after the 2 year warranty was done. The filters were cleaned every week. Well Dyson is NOT the best. We wanted to get it repaired and before doing so we used the online troubleshooter and have spoken to a customer service representative who basically said that if the dryer is over the warranty period, Dyson will do nothing to repair it. I was also told that my local Dyson Repair center will not repair it because they only fix vacuums. So sad that a $500 hair dryer only has a 2 year warranty. The warranty should be for the life of the product. The customer service representative was awful. I was pleading for some kind of assistance and was told “over two years, you're out of luck!”One would think that a $500 dryer would exceed expectations. The $99 Babyliss that replaced it has been working like a charm for 3 years. Just venting

Very Bad Customer Service - 8 weeks waiting on a Part

Hi,How do you make a compliant? I have spent 8 weeks on WhatsApp and Phone calls. Wrong replacement head sent out Then a Connection Piece sent out - Didn’t fit I have now been onto 3 different CSR, all promised the correct part will be sent out. Nothing has arrived Thanks

DPD couldn't delivery my order - What can I do?

I’m having an almost identical experience as this post Order Lost with DPD claiming they couldn’t deliver a click-and-collect order to a post office, and then Dyson support being essentially non-existent and not doing what they say they will.I’m massively unimpressed. Hot+Cool Formaldehyde HP09 doesnt go to Idle in Auto

I’m using the HP09 in Auto Mode with Heat set to 19 Celsius. Once the temperature is reached it stops heating. However, there is still a loud noise coming from the machine but no air flow felt coming from it.As I understand it tries to purify the air until the desired quality is reached however, the air quality is all good so I thought it would go to standby. no air from tower fan

Both of my Dyson tower fans have the same problem. No air coming out of the tower. The motor is blowing air but doesn’t come out of the blade. We have cleaned the blade and changed filter and cleaned the sensor. Some times one willl run fin for a few minutes and then stop.we have spent quite a bit of money on these two fans that are sitting idle at this time. please helpcathy f

Retailer Contact - Registering Processes

Hey, I purchased a V15 from my local Appliance shop. I was having issues registering my product online due to incomplete serial number and was told to go directly back to the store I purchased it from. I called, then emailed a copy of my serial number and order details. After a few days the store emailed me confirming that the serial number was all sorted. They also sent me through the Chat transcript between them and Dyson Live Chat, it has all my personal details. Is the appliance store allowed to do this? Lied to By Customer Service

After the debacle of the defective $500 vacuum, I am currently embroiled in the return farce. I was sent a return label for the suckless vacuum, and promptly boxed the useless lump of cheap plastic back up. Upon reading the label, I learned that it was my responsibility to drive to the nearest UPS dropoff point, or schedule pickup at MY COST!I have no intention of doing either. The nearest dropoff is 30 minutes away. That’s a total of an hour driving with petrol costs being north of $4 a gallon. To have UPS pick up the heaping pile of trash would cost me $20. NOPE!So I chatted with a CSR, who’s name I can’t mention here because of reasons, and that representative promised me that there was a pickup scheduled, gave me a number for UPS to verify and sent me on my way. NOPE AGAIN!The number he gave was wrong, and when I contacted UPS they did not have a pickup scheduled. This is absolutely ridiculous. (Edited by moderator - Removed personal data)

Registering more than one machine in the app - How does it work?

Hi I have recently upgraded my older Dyson purifier hot & cool to the latest formaldehyde version. I now have 2 machines and would like to run both of the app but I can't seem to find a setting and the play store won't let me download 2 versions of the app.Can anyone offer a solution as I see this as an issue for the future when people upgrade they will keep the older machine or have more than one machine, upstairs and downstairs...(Edited by moderator – tags amended)

Tips for getting machine back from service center?

I dropped off my slim ball vacuum at the closest service center to me for a cracked hose on 11/8/22. They told me it would be repaired in 2 weeks. My repair status has not changed at all as of today, it still says “new”. The service center doesn’t answer the phone, they don’t respond to emails and when I tried chatting with dysons help desk about it they told me they can’t do anything because I “walked in” despite having a repair number generated through dysons system. Does anyone know how to reach them short of going in person? I live about an hour away (Edited by moderator – Tag added)

A01 Desk Fan filter?

I think I know the answer, but I want to check with the community before dealing with Support. Does the A01 Desk Fan have a filter that can be cleaned? The instructions do not address it and there seems to be no way to remove it from the base. (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Refund run around - HELP!

I’m (maybe not now) a Dyson fan (no pun intended), I have 5 units in my house. Here’s my issue with Dyson:I ordered 2x V-12 units end of January, one for gift and one upgrade for me. Do to personal issues had to return both and process the returns after the first unit was delivered. I never opened either units, I received two emails from Dyson that my return request is being looked into from separate emails. Then received two emails with return instructions with a Return Numbers. I returned each of them individually, with days later received two emails letting me know each was received. Little over 2-weeks received two emails for each that my return has been processed and moneys should be sent back to my financial institution in about 3 days. So far So good. My financial institution (both units financed from same place) was credited for 1 of my purchases. Waited another week and no credit on the second unit, I contacted Dyson and they said the credit was processed and funds returned to
