DC14 CLUTCH CIRCLIP

Anyone know where I can obtain the CLUTCH CIRCLIP? for the DC14 CLUTCH.Preferably not part of a kit!(Edited by moderator – Moved to a new category/Tags added)

Dyson Ball - Suction stuck on hose

Hi,My fathers dc24 ball animal only has suction from the hose instead of the floor head. Does anyone know if this can be fixed or do I need to have it repaired? Thank you.

Feedback - Dyson Upright - Ball Animal3

Fell into the trap of all the Dyson hooplah and fanfare. You guys must pay your advertising agency and “user reviews” posters tons. That would explain where all the money goes, because it sure isn’t into creating functioning products or customer service and support. Paid $500 for the much hyped Dyson Ball Animal 3. Unboxed it and set it up as per the instructions, and the wand works but it doesn’t switch suction to the front. Called support, got disconnected because of an issue on their end, and no call back. Called again. Went through the steps with the CSR, who insulted me because I didn’t see a “C” ring, which is present on the Animal2 and not the 3 by the way. Still couldn’t get it to work. Now I have to package the thing up and send it back.No way I’m getting caught up again. Give me my money back, I’ll go get a Shark for a third of the cost.  (Edited by moderator – Title amended/Tags added/Moved to new category)

Upright Vacuum DC14 clutch VERY noisy - RATTLES

Recently fitted a new Clutch assembly to my DC14 Animal and disappointed to find that when engaged makes a loud and annoying 'rattling' ...... any thoughts? (Edited by moderator – Tags added/Moved to a new category)

slim ball multifloor cleaned but no suction in rollers

I have totally disassembled and cleaned my slim ball multi floor when it stopped turning on. It had paper in hose and hair in rollers. It now looks new yet suction is coming out of top of ball into dust collector but no suction to roller bars. Did I put it back together incorrectly? DC 11 wand replacement

Hi, the telescoping wand on my DC 11 is in poor condition but the vacuum is still working great.  Will any of the newer wands fit or can any of them be adapted to work on the DC 11?

Motorheads - Cross Compatibility

Do all dyson motorhead attachments work on all dyson corded models ?I have a dc23 and need a new motorhead, I've seen a few online and the price's very for new and used, so i need to know if what i buy will work i my machine?thanks (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Brush bar - Not loosening pet hair

How do I get replacement bristles for my brush bar? I have an upright corded model cleaner which wasn’t a problem with my late Springer Spaniel however my new one has a different coat and on various carpets  the cleaner rolls hair into a ball and it stays there after the brush head has gone over, it doesn't make any difference whether the brush bar is being powered or if the front suction bar is down I can only suspect that the bristles have worn and need replacing. I can't find them on the spares list! (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Servicing my Dyson

HiI have an old DC19 vacuum cleaner. It’s working fine but I think after 10-15 yrs plus it could do with a service. Why buy a new one when this one works fine? The thing is that I don’t think Dyson offer a resonantly priced service (which I consider should be c £50). My neighbours have taken out insurance which entitles them to a service apparently. I just want to be sure of what options are available. I live in Guildford, Surrey. Any help / advice welcome.  thxChris  (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Dyson DC17 - Zorb Accessory Use

Hi,I purchased my genuine dyson dc-17 animal many years ago now when I first started working at my first lowe’s home improvement store that I participated in help setup and open for business. At the time all of us associates were offered some grand opening discounts one of which were substantial savings on dyson products. So since I already knew that dyson products were known to be quality made products I decided to purchase my dc-17 animal upright corded vacuum cleaner, and quite frankly I’ve been well satisfied with my purchase ever since. On the sticker on the front of the tank it shows that it came with a carpet care kit, that included a brown cardboard box that contained the following items: an accessory with the brushes inside of it, a bag of zorb carpet maintenance powder, a can of dyzolv spot cleaner, & some kind of a hose adapter. I would have thought that some kind of instructions would have been included inside of the cardboard box but never did locate any. That’s what i

Insight - Lifespan of washable filters

I own a Dyson DC14 Animal.  It has been great for our family and worked for a long time.It obviously comes with the washable filter that is separate from the HEPA filter that it also contains.I was curious on what are people’s different estimates for the lifespan of these pre-motor filters.  For mine, it sits on top of the canister.  I realize that we should wash them by directions at a period of once every month to once every six months depending on the degree of usage of the vacuum.I am not talking about how often we should wash them.  I am talking about what are people’s rough estimates on how long they would last until they need to be replaced.  I guess we actually have to look at two items here because there is a screen in the plastic insert that the washable filter goes into which I know can clog over time as well.Thanks for the help! (Edited by moderator – Tags added and Title amended)

Dyson DC24 Multi Floor Upright Vacuum Cleaner - missing part?

Hello! I need some help, please.I’ve cleaned the Cleaner Head on my DC24 a few times.After the most recent cleaning, the vacuum sounds ‘off’ and and feels harder to push along the floor.I’m worried there is a part missing, specifically a red plastic part (that would sit just below the yellow ball wheel assembly). I’ve looked at various product photos online and so far found them inconclusive.If you have this product, kindly check out the photo of mine below and let me know if it looks ok. (Edited by moderator – Tag added)

DV41 Animal - Cleaner broken

Hi everyone.My Animal won’t suck. The brushes spin and it sucks up on the floor, but when I use the hose part it won’t work and there is a really strange noise.I tried calling the number on the website but they wanted me to take the hoover apart. As I am not very mobile and take things slowly, I couldn’t do it. Can anyone send me recording to show my grandson? Thank you for all the help.

DC 25 ball filter clicking

Hi, I brought a secondhand dc25 at the beginning of June. After doing my first filter wash, the ball filter keeps clicking and popping out. Is it broken?
