Hi

Our DC20 Stowaway Turbine Head has become very rattly and inefficient. I took it apart but couldn’t see anything obviously wrong. As this model isn’t supported anymore I was wondering if anyone could please tell me what replacements there are that would work with my DC20 and is there also some sort of adapter I would need to get it to attach? The model number of the head is 906565-30 which I eventually found on the Dyson site. It’s out of stock (although there is one on ebay for £150 + £20 P&P!!!). I guess it’s been replaced by the new tangle free head for newer models.

Ah it is a bit tricky as your machine has retired and parts are no longer manufactured by Dyson for this machine.

We do have a list of authorised parts retailers, where you may be able to purchasing replacement parts for this model from:

  • Appliance Spares Warehouse 

Do bear in mind, by purchasing non-official parts and accessories, this may have an unexpected effect on the machine.
