Brush Bar Problems - Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Vacuum

Hello Community,My wife bought a Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Vacuum in 2020 which MSRP was $699.99.  This was the most we had ever spent on a vacuum.  I will admit that functionally this is the best vacuum that we have ever owned.  We seem to keep having problems with the brush bar it seems to get out of alignment then destroy the plastice becoming more and more out of alignment until it will not function.  We have replaced the whole head assembly, sent in to Dyson, replaced only the brush bar (which is part of the head assy) and most recently sent in again where they replaced the head assembly.  Considering the age of this and the value of the vacuum we are quite suprised that we have had so many problems.  I clean the brush bar before ever use and this is one of the models that there is no filter to clean.  I always check to make sure that there are no blockages.Does anyone know why this keeps happening, as it stands Dyson has suggested I take advantage of my warranty that doesnt expire u

Cylinder Vacuum cleaner - Head cleaning

I am looking for instructions on how to deep clean the pneumatic cleaning head on my Dyson Big Ball Animal 3 Cylinder Vacuum cleaner.Can it be soaked to help remove crusted on deposits?

UP22 Light Ball not staying upright - magnet fix

Lightball UP22 not staying upright.Solution:Check that the two short duct hoses at bottom of cleaner are free and clear of debris.  If these will not close or seal properly because of debris then the cleaner may not lock into upright position as magnetic assembly (see below) will not engage.If hoses clear, then check magnet assembly (a magnet and a separate metal plate) which, when brought together in the upright position, holds the cleaner in the upright position. I found that the magnet is held within a clasp  and on my vacuum at least the magnet had come free of the clasp and was stuck magnetically to the opposing metal plate. As a result the magnetic grip was relatively poor, not helped by the full travel being reduced by the depth of the magnet about 5-10mm.To fix the loose magnet, place the magnet back between the clasp and squeeze the two arms of the clasp, at either end of the magnet, against the magnet using a pair of narrow-tipped pliers. Hi Dyson Ball Animal 2The connector to the wand attachment has snapped, is there a spare part of this or do you know if that is covered by my warrenty with Dyson.  Thanks in advance for any help

The silver grey release button on our cyclone bin has cracked

Does anyone have a replacement button, possibly from a bin that was unserviceable for some other reason?  I really don't want to buy the complete cyclone assembly just to replace this button.

Is it safe to wash my Dyson vacuum's cyclone pack?

I have a DC25 and as part of cleaning it I ran water through the cyclone but now see that this is not advisable. Please can you tell me if I should replace this part (if available) or whether it is possible to dry it without affecting its function. Thank you.(Moderation edit - title updated)

What cleaning tasks is the Dyson Submarine V12s Detect Slim Submarine wet roller head suited for?

Does Dyson Submarine V12S Submarine Wet Roller Head is used for entire floor mopping OR Just for small work -picking spillage and removing stain from small area?I am asking this, as I am a New Owner of Dyson 12 Detect Slim Submarine, from Gurgaon, India. I have purchase this only two months back in Sep 2023.But only after 2 weeks of purchase, this wet roller head stopped working. A yellow triangle picture (indicator of some internal machine defect appears) and water stopped coming out from the wet roller head. I contacted customer care, got new roller head and again after two weeks it stopped working.This tie Customer care (ask@dyson -representative0 told to me “ THIS WET ROLLER HEAD IS NOT DESIGNED FOR WET MOPPING OF ENTIRE HARD FLOOR OF ROOM OR HOUSE, THIS IS JUST FOR PICKING SILLAGE OR REMOVING HARD STAIN FROM SMALL AREA?”Please confirm is this correct? Dyson DC40 - changeover valve replacement

DC40,no suction from brush end, notice the pipe has holes in it meaning we can only vacuum with the pipe not the upright. The picture shows a split pipe, can I replace this myself and what is the part number please . Thankyou any information helpful The pipe with holes in it , can this pipe be replaced please? DC 25 Upright vacuum - Brush Bar Not Spinning

Vacuum returned with suction issue - What are my options?

I've had my Dyson corded vacuum returned after being collected and repaired.My machine has been returned as tested for suction etc. The main head all works fine but there is very poor suction through the wand, it was very good previously as it powered the power head used to remove dog hair. This head now barely turns when you use it on cushion covers with any pressure put upon it .Also if you put your hand over the wand the pressure is way down. I'd go as far as to say this isn't my machine but the serial no does match so it must be. Please advise what to do next?ThanksJT

Hi I have a Dyson big ball upright vacuum cleaner and the slider on the floor brush seems to be stuck it will not move the Max setting.  Is there a fix for this and is this affecting performance?

I have searched the dyson web site UK for a COV assembly hose and can not find it. Does anyone have the product code for this item so I can purchase from dyson, as I do not want to get a non gen part from amazon. Its for the Dyson DC40. Thank you for your help.

DC40 broken internal flip hoseMy DC40

My DC40 Vacuum is broken after 7 happy years. It is a seemingly small fault. The internal flip hose - a small hose near the base of the vacuum - has badly split and needs replacement. Replacing hoses is usually simple on Dyson, but not so here. The Youtube is highly complicated. I took it to a repair shop - not Dyson as none near me (DC) - and they were familiar with Dyson repairs. It is only a small tube. They explained that it is highly complicated taking more than 5 times longer than even major repairs to do and not worth the $130 they would charge. They recommended buying a new one. The YouTube video bore it out. I buy Dyson for their longevity. Am really put off replacing with another. Anyone else have this experience or suggestions?It is part 922625-03: a cheap part; it is the labor that is costly.

dyson CY23 cyclone part - Anyone know where I can order a Cyclone?

I am looking for this part everywhere and it seems to only be in stock in UK and I am in USA. I really do not want to take this apart. I feel like it’s an all day job and would rather by a replacement cyclone part.  Part 967551-01. The fact I can’t get this part sucks because it leaves me with buying a new vacuum from another company. Dyson Small Ball Allergy - Leaving carpet lines - HELP!

Hi, since yesterday when I hoover my carpets, my vacuum cleaner is leaving tramlines on my carpet, created by the ball part dragging across the carpet as you push the vacuum forward. When it is pulled backwards it's OK. This started yesterday. My first carpet was OK, I then moved to a hard floor and adjusted the brush bar as required, then moved back to another carpeted area which is when the tramlines started to appear and the hoover felt a bit different in that you could feel the ball part dragging through the carpet. It's exactly the same carpet throughout the house so was fine just minutes before. I've cleaned all the filters, not that I thought it would make a difference and it didn't. Has anyone got any solutions as to why this is happening? The brushes rotate and deactivate when required. I've contacted Dyson via WhatsApp and sent a video showing the tramlines but the lady just replied saying what damage is it doing to your carpet. It's making tramlines! It didn't previously. I

V6 motorhead stuck, wont spin

Hi All,I have a V6 stick with a motorhead. I pulled the motorhead apart and gave everything a bit of a clean with some water.Now that i’ve reassembled, the brush gets stuck when trying to spin. The pin behind the brush spins so i assume the electrics are good. But the brush is tight and won’s spin. I’ve even lubricated the bottom end of the brush with no luck.Any advice or an I shelling out $125 to buy another one?Thanks.

Dyson Cylinder vaccum - Need a replacement part: 917260-01 (Wand)

Hi,I saw that this part is out of stock, so I called Dyson and the service representative said that part 967365-01 is compatible. He then told me that there might be back stock available. I was told that I had to register my machine in order to be notified when the part is in stock and he proceeded to register my machine over the phone. He assured me that after talking with a supervisor, he would email me a summary of our conversation. I tried to log into MyDyson, but I found that I was not registered. I registered my vacuum. I did not receive an email from Dyson, but the service rep gave me an email address “questions@dyson.com” I emailed my query about the parts, but I have received no response. I found part 967365-01 at an overseas seller and inquired about its compatibility with CY18. He responded that it is not compatible. I am confused and a bit frustrated because I don’t know if the parts are compatible I can’t use my machine without part 917260-01. Where might I find help for t

Help - My DC25 Upright vacuum cleaner ball filter keep falling out!

I have had my dc25 quite a few years now but just recently the filter in the ball keeps jumping out of its cradle which then makes an awful noise and I have to keep turning the machine off to click it back in. I have washed all the filters in the machine but it keeps doing it any ideas??

Dyson upright vacuum - Animal3 - Poor suction

I am truly disappointed in the Animal 3. I had the original many years ago and absolutely LOVED it. What is the point if it consistently clogs up with dog hair? We are frequently taking it apart to unclog it. With in 10/15 mins of vacuuming I stopped it to move furniture and it wouldn’t turn back on! apparently it is getting too hot to use after a certain amount of time! For the amount of money we spent on this, its no better then a $150 vacuum we bought before this one. DC41 filter cannister won't fit properly - HELP (Pictures Included)

Greetings.  I am attempting to troubleshoot my elderly (she’s 91) neighbor’s DC41.  I cannot figure out why the filer cannister won’t fit properly (there is a large gap between the bottom of the cannister and the lower unit intake port).  Based on everything I see nothing is broken, and she swears that she has never replaced any parts or otherwise.  Totally lost on this one.  Helllllllllp.
