Dyson CY27 (big ball) to Dyson DC19 (yellow cyclone), tools

PLEASE. Is there anyone that can help me?My daily driver is my CY27 (big ball). I have recently had a new lounge carpet and cannot push the self adjusting head through it. I still have my DC19, with a turbo head. I need an attachment that allows me to connect the turbo brush from the DC19,to my CY27. (I think I have bought just about everyone on sale at Amazon).I would be eternally grateful, if someone know the solution.

Absolutely shocking service regarding Airwrap

I bought my Airwrap in Nov 2021. A year later, it stopped working, rang up and I'd to get it repaired, thankfully it was under warranty.It was returned & I presumed the warranty would start from when it was repaired. How wrong was I.Less than 15 months later it developed the same fault. Annoyed at it breaking again, I rang customer services. Basically told its out of warranty, nothing we can do unless you want to pay £99 to have it repaired or 20% off a new one. I've forked out £450 for it to last 3 years and 4 mths,and develop the same fault that was allegedly fixed!!!I've had cheaper hairdryers last longer than the airwrap.I always thought Dyson was a good name in the world of electronics & debated for months about buying an airwrap as its an expensive item & expected paying £450 would mean it was of superior quality & endurance, how wrong was I!!.Absolute waste of money, the customer service is shocking. The reviews in the last 12 month confirm this.I expected it to

SV12 cordless vacuum dead, battery shows 3 solid blue lights

Hi folks, our own Dyson vac is behaving but my mother-in-law’s V10 / SV12 has died. No sound at all from it but the battery shows 3 blue lights when the trigger is pulled. Trigger feels normal. I’m not scared of disassembling it. Any suggestions as to what the fault might be, or how to diagnose it further? Cheers.

Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner power button doesn't work

I've had my Dyson for 3.5 years now and the power button stopped working. The trigger is not responsive. I checked with Dyson repair services and to fix the trigger they ask for $130. Dyson itself is so expensive (I bought mine for $500), they use defective parts and to top that to repair it is an additional $130... I know there are so many videos how to fix that but any tips and tricks would be great.

V11 Absolute cyclone replacement cant be found

Hi everyone. I have a Dyson V11 Absolute nickel/blue from 2021 and the cyclone/ handheld unit needs replacing. This is because the electrical connection into the wand is faulty and it no longer turns the brush heads. I’ve contacted Dyson and they sent a replacement which I had to pay for. The replacement doesnt fit my existing battery as it has a different underside to the handle. My model has no protruding elements but the replacement has two little protruding bits. See attached picture. Dyson seem unable to find a replacement cyclone in my style and don’t understand the problem despite me sending the photo. Can anyone help me on how I find a solution? Airwrap is not working for my hair texture

I have had the airwrap for about 6 months now, and I am struggling with it. I have thick hair and a lot of it. It’s not curly but more wavy and very frizzy. I have tried different products and methods but the air wrap just leaves my hair poofy and frizzy. I always have flyways that I can’t take. The style also doesn’t last for me. If I use the barrel it only lasts until the end of the day. If I use the round brush again it only lasts until the end of the day. And I can never get my hair to be smooth and shiny like I can with other heat tools. Help!!

Can I use my Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer from Japan in the US?

Hi,I recently bought a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer in Japan and bought it over to the US. When I was talking to the salesperson at the place of purchase, they told me that it should work since the power supply range is the same. However, when I plug in my hair dryer at home it doesn’t work at all. The voltage stated on the hair dryer is 100V 50-60 Hz. Please help!

Hello,I am just curious to know if anyone else is having the same problems I am having? I have had to exchange my Coreale at least three times now because the cord stops charging or there is a short that won’t hold the cord in place. I use my flat iron every single day and the magnetic thing isn’t holding anymore. This has happened 3 different times! It’s frustrating that this is a $500 flat iron and I constantly have problems with it. I love the way it styles my hair but it’s frustrating that it won’t stay plugged in! I have the air wrap and the blow dryer, obviously no problems with those.. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Matching parts for my vac. - Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute (Copper)

I have the accessories (& wall mount) for a “Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute (Copper)”. I know this is the model because it also had the manual, with the sticker giving the Serial Number, and when I registered it this was the model that was identified.However, when we got all these parts, the main body and charger were missing. Now I’m on a hunt to replace these. I’m finding various body units that appear similar but different labels are used with them. Some say “V10 Animal” - others say “V10 (Model SV12)”.Will any of the “large canister” bodies that are identified as “V10” work with my parts??

360 Vis Nav Problems

Hi Dyson Community,I purchased a 360 Vis Nav to replace my 360 Heurist robot as it was continuously scraping against walls and just not getting back to the charger base (Separate story).Setup the new 360 vis nav in the same place as the old - within the parameters of the requirements - on my landing. Started the mapping an it started - needed me to hit resume a few times when it bumped into the skirting but all good. Then I started a clean and it drove me crazy - it would get to a certain point in the landing bump twice then say its been lifted, when into rooms and got lost needing me to take it back to the charger - this was worse then the old one.I check the floor and thought it was the design of the banister so I even put card board along the edge to give a solid edge and still the same problem.Tried to remap and it just would do the mapping correctly.So contacted Dyson support and they replaced the unit. Setup the new replacement unit and it won't map - gets to the same place in t

dyson 360 vis nav skipping rooms

hi all,I got the robot recently and let it map my 90 square feet flat. The map looks ok but I am having a problem getting the robot to clean 2 specific rooms (bed room and kitchen) when I tell the robot to clean all, all rooms will be cleaned.When I ask the robot to clean the living room or the bedroom only it refuses. The robot basically undock, move few cms and then return back to the dock saying it couldn’t find the rooms. i deleted the map and created a new one. now the robot can clean the living room on it is own but still refuses to enter and clean my bedroom. if I remove the bed room divider and include the floor with the bed room it also works but this is stupid. any ideas ? With my precious robots (Roomba and roborock) I didn’t face such issues :(.

Scheduling - power levels per room

When setting on-demand room cleans, you can set the desired power level per room. When scheduling cleans, the power levels are not available to be set for each schedule, and default to whatever was last set on the on-demand clean for each room. Is there a way to define a schedule for a day/time, and selection of rooms, where you can set a specific power level? It would be great to be able to set a clean on quiet at an early hour, only for specific rooms. Then have the power level on auto when it’s not early morning, and on a different day.In the scheduling configuration, I can choose a level for the entire home, or individual rooms, but not rooms and power level per room. In the on-demand window (Select zones to start cleaning), I can select desired rooms and their required power level. The power level values chosen here persist for each room in all schedules, until changed. I need a new Main Body for a V8 SV10. A web search on the Dyson spares pages yields only Part No 967812-01, but with the caveat that it is ONLY for serial Nos starting YM8. The Serial No on my machine start RA5. So what Part No do I need please? Tried the online chat, but got nowhere :-(

Is there a low-reach adaptor for the Gen5detect

Hi, I know others have asked this question but I can’t see a response: is there a low reach adaptor tool for the Gen5Detect? It would be massively useful for cleaning under beds etc.I have the low reach tool for our V8, but it doesn’t fit the Gen5.There are pictures of a low reach tool and the Gen5 on the site, bundled with other tools.What’s the part number?Thanks John

is the 150/302 temp on the airwrap for the lowest heat setting? I’ve seen people say it can damage hair so would presume it goes hotter than 150?
