Help- The battery to my v11 torque + wont click in, and keeps falling out

I have a Dyson v11 torque + I recently took the battery off of the Dyson body when it was charging. Now when I go to put it back, it won’t stay on and won’t even click into place. I can hold it on but when I stop holding it together it falls apart. What should I do?

airwrap stopped working after 5th use

I got a Dyson airwrap for Christmas. It cut out when I was using it for just the 5th time last night. The filter light was flashing even though it was completely clean. I used the filter brush, rinsed the filter cage and dried it overnight. It’s still not working. Such an expensive product and broken after less than four weeks! Any advice?

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I have received from your agency regarding a purifier device that I purchased on few months ago The serial number of the device is [Moderation edit - personal information removed] Since its purchase, the purifier device has consistently displayed error messages, requiring me to restart it frequently for it to function properly. However, despite my efforts to rectify the issue, the device eventually stopped working altogether. In light of this situation, I decided to send it to your agency for repairs After patiently waiting for a few weeks, I received the purifier device back from your agency with the assurance that it had been perfectly fixed. Unfortunately, my hopes were short-lived as the device ceased functioning again after merely one hour of use. Dyson made it so hard to return, and it takes forever to get a refund

My return package arrived at the Dyson warehouse on January 12th, and per the email I received that day, I was informed that the refund process would take 7-10 business days. However, after waiting for 14 business days (today is Feb 1st), I have yet to receive the refund.Upon contacting the customer service today, I learned that my refund had not even been processed yet. It was only after my phone call that the refund process was initiated, and now I am being told to wait an additional 7-10 business days.This level of service is unacceptable and does not meet the standards I expect from a reputable company like Dyson. I will never order through Dyson.com, this is definitely the worse experience.

Gen5 gasket ripping

Have had this less than a month, this can’t be normal. Has anyone seen this issue before where apparently the gasket is ripping? Is this decorative or should I consider this a functional defect? I’m a bit beside myself not knowing what to think, such an odd design choice to have this delicate material on the canister. Images below, please advise.

Using UK dyson airwrap in USA- relocating

hi there, I’m relocating to the USA from UK and have bought a Dyson air wrap (first edition) a couple years ago and absolutely loved the product. I know the Uk Dyson won’t work in the US and was wondering you do exchanges? As in I give my UK Dyson back for a US Dyson air wrap? Or do I have to repurchase the entire product again??? This would be a waste of money as the Dyson products r very expensive, airwrap being about 600???

Would it be a mistake to but a Dyson vacuum cleaner?

I have had a Dyson vacuum cleaner for over 30 years. It has been fantastic, and it still works ok. However it is now time to buy a lighter model as my wife and I are finding our current Dyson to be too heavy for us as we get older. We have looked at the V12 in a shop and we were very impressed. It looks like a superb machine and it gets great reviews.BUT I am beginning to wonder if buying a new Dyson vacuum cleaner would be a big mistake. Dyson have had an excellent reputation for quality products and good customer service but I am becoming increasingly wary as it looks like the standard of Dyson’s customer service, in the UK at least, has taken a dive. 1. There are many posts both here and on Trustpilot about recent poor customer service experiences with Dyson.2. Posts on here about poor customer service appear to be ignored by the moderation team – they do not reply to them. Why is this? Surely they should be trying to help their customers.3. Dyson Gen5 actual running time

Hello everyone, I just purchased a dyson gen5 detect and the screen displays 13:48 minutes running time under boost mode 57 minutes under ECO , and 36 minutes under Auto, while the advertising saying up to 70 minutes. Can someone help me understand ? Do I need to return it? Thanks.

Sharing a device between multiple users

We have a Dyson Fan and primarily control to via the MyDyson app since some of the functionality is only in the app. Since initially setting up the fan we've had it registered to one MyDyson account but since multiple people in the house use the fan we have simply shared an account. Recently the app/account has been updated to require 2FA. I didn't choose this instead one day the app was logged out and required both the account password and and e-mailed code to login. The problem now is that whenever anyone if logged out they now have to call me and request the code from my e-mail as the fan is registered to me. Is there any way to either:Assign one device to multiple MyDyson accountsAdd additional users to the main accountDisable 2FA (I'm all for it in general but it's controlling a smart fan, nothing else)Without one of the above it's going to be a pain going forward. TP09 Software update has stopped sensors working

My TP09 auto updated to version ECG2PF.07.03.000.0020 but all sensors have stopped working apart from temperature but that is also incorrect as it’s reporting -2. You can see the severe drop after the update was applied. Is anyone else seeing this?

Does anyone know if an India bought Dyson airwrap will work in UK?

I have a Dyson Airwrap bought in India and I’m moving to UK. Wondering whether the Airwrap will work in UK? I have checked that the operating voltages are the same. But someone I know experienced a short circuit in their room when using an India bought hair dryer (non-Dyson hair dryer).Any thoughts on this would help. Thank you

My hair straightener is brand new and keeps coming up with warning triangle error and the over heat error even though it’s not hot. I have tried restarting it and still the warning triangle won’t stop coming up. the settings say it’s error 16,20,27

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a Dyson V11 to clean this type of carpet (photo attached). The place is never very dirty, with the exception of the entrance, the rest are spots of small dirt. Would anyone recommend this equipment for this type of carpet? PS.: I have never use any Dyson.

Will the dyson airwrap Prussian blue/Rich copper long restock during the boxing day sales, if so how soon will that be?I would really love to purchase the airwrap however the regular vesion of the airwrap in my desired Prussian blue/Rich copper colour may not work for me as my hair might be too long for the attatchments.

v11 vacuum not charging

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help me please as I cant find any help anywhere! All of a sudden the charger on my v11 has stopped charging the machine. There isn't lights to indicate the battery is dead. I did clean the hoover a couple weeks back and I thought it was dry when I put it back together however now I am wondering if maybe that could be the issue. I'd be grateful if someone could let me know please. I do not want to buy a new charger if it's not an issue with the charger I own. Thank you!

Must we continually pay to replace our Dyson every 1-2 years?

We bought a V11 Absolute cordless in 2019 after giving up on our “ball” upright Dyson.Sure enough, just before the warranty expired in 2021 it stopped working.I was very grateful of the Dyson customer service, despite my friends telling me to buy a “shark” I persisted and soon received an entirely new unit (main body etc.).Imagine my amazement however, when 2 years later my vacuum is malfuntioning, starting/stopping intermittently, continuing to vacuum when the power button has been released and forget using the long “wand”, it won’t work at all with that!So, I phoned Dyson to explain that the only way I can hoover my living room is by crawling around on my hands and knees with the motorised head, whispering sweetly into it’s air intake….I then discover the new unit didn’t even come with a new warranty “it expired in 2021” the agent tells me (just after they sent it to me in 2021.The agent insisted it was the battery that was at fault at a cost of over £160… not sure how that will affe

Dyson V11 Absolute Battery Spring

Dear community,my name is Klaus and I am a happy user of the Dyson V11 Absolute.There is a small compression spring in the battery for the locking mechanism. This one was damaged for some reason and the battery does not lock anymore into the device.Since I do not want to replace the battery for almost 100 EUR I am looking for replacement of that little compression spring. Can somebody tell me where I can get a replacement part or alternatively the specs (wire diamater, spring diamter, spring length)? I recently purchased the Dyson v15 Detect through Walmart, only to discover upon receipt that it was shipped and sold by Dyson through Walmart.Regrettably, the package arrived with a crucial component missing – the battery.
