Dyson Airstrait straightener Presentation case/Travel wrap/Display stand availability in the UK

Replace a brand new Dyson Airwrap from India for a US version

I received the Airwrap from my family as a gift. I live in US, when I had reached out to Dyson in June, customer service reps has assured me, i would be able to switch the Airwrap for the US version.I could not get to the service center, due to a long term medical emergency in the family.When I reached out back to the Dyson customer care today, they are telling me the policy has changed and they cannot replace the Dyson Airwrap for the US version.I need help!!!!!I am stuck with this beautiful expensive piece of technology that I have not been able to use for months now. There has got to be a way to help me with this, so I can use the Airwrap and be a satisfied customer. Can someone from the Dyson community take this back to higher management and help resolve this situation, please? (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

egregious customer service

dyson violated their own return policy with incompetence and disregard. Over five months trying to return an unopened hairdryer. As an owner a dozen Dyson products I will never invest in another. I have a paper trail beginning in 2023 regarding this matter.

Supersonic Pro not turning on…

I’m just wondering if anyone can help or offer maybe some support ??So, it’s taken me a long time to get comfortable using my Dyson Supersonic, especially on clients. At first I couldn’t get used to the shape and the location of the buttons felt awkward. But then slowly I’ve actually grown to love it. Now just as I’m starting to really get the feel of it, it suddenly stops working. I’ve had it just around 6 months. It’s working fine one day and then the next day it just won’t turn on.I contacted Dyson through the chat feature on their website and was told by the representative that my machine is broken and must be repaired. They say I will need to drive over two hours to a Dyson repair center to get it fixed. Only after I tell them that I live in a city and do not have a car do they offer me the option to have it replaced. But then I’m told that there are no Supersonic Pro units available. What the heck? Can this be? I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this happen??No repair cent

Short Lifespan Airwrap

I have had my airwrap since Nov 2021, so 2 ½ years. And i barely used it a couple times a week max and it just stopped working yesterday. I chatted with an agent for 2 hrs and came to the solution that they escalated my case and would be in contact in max 24 hrs. I called today after the 24hrs and there was never an escalation or anyone who was going to contact me. As i am out of the warranty range and live far from a service center the only solution i was given was to replace it. I was not offered any sort of discount. I stayed on the line to take the survey and the representative would not hang up the phone for me to do that. They kept the line open for over 30mins. For how expensive dyson products are i expect a better level of customer service and i expected the airwrap to last at least 10 years. I am very disappointed and will be looking into shark and other companies. Id rather spend a couple hundred if im going to just be replacing them every 2-3 years. From the reading i have d

round brush keeps coming off

I got the air warp at Christmas. The round brush attachment keeps coming away from the main styler every time I use it. It’s clicked in properly but just pops off every single time, no matter what. It’s really frustrating!!!

collection for repair

Hi, I have now waited in 3 differing full days for a collection. Despite after the first let down and reassurances there has been no collection by dysons courier. I paid for the repair in March under order number 34406137. NoThe call centre representatives have informed me that DPD should collect in the uk. Despite phoning around 6 times to Dyson customer services to check that the hairdryer would be collected and getting cast iron guarantees it would be picked up today - another no show unfortunately. Customer service with no ability for resolution is not very good. How do you sort this if Dyson customer services can’t? thanks.

I keep seeing comments claiming that the Mother’s Day colourway has launched in the UK but it doesn’t include the airstrait. Why not, Mother’s Day is 9 days away in the UK! Can we expect it?

V11 Absolute cyclone replacement cant be found

Hi everyone. I have a Dyson V11 Absolute nickel/blue from 2021 and the cyclone/ handheld unit needs replacing. This is because the electrical connection into the wand is faulty and it no longer turns the brush heads. I’ve contacted Dyson and they sent a replacement which I had to pay for. The replacement doesnt fit my existing battery as it has a different underside to the handle. My model has no protruding elements but the replacement has two little protruding bits. See attached picture. Dyson seem unable to find a replacement cyclone in my style and don’t understand the problem despite me sending the photo. Can anyone help me on how I find a solution? How to prevent/clean vivid color off my Dyson Airwrap?

Hi! I am having an issue with my bright pink/deep magenta hair color transferring to my light Blue/light pink Dyson Airwrap. Does anyone have any Advice on how to prevent this or even how to clean it off? I have tried getting it off with just water, and also using my Precleanse by Dermalogcia but nothing has worked (yes I know Precleanse is a skin cleanser but us Estheticians know it can be used to take off SO much more than just makeup). It could be the type of hair color too, because it’s actually a “permanent vivid color”. It’s Pravana Everlasting Poison Berry. It doesn’t transfer on anything unless it’s wet or heated. I just got a light pink Dyson straightener as well without thinking about this problem before purchasing, and I’m nervous that my color is going to ruin it. if anyone has any suggestions or tips please let me know!!! thank you!

Sent Corralle into get repaired and now they are saying it wasn’t in the box!

Sent in my $500 Corrale stradinghtner to get a new battery. Shipping label said it was going to Washington. I get a call saying it is in WI and my Corrale is NOT in the box only the docking station and cord is. When I called they said it never went to WI only Washington. BUT the representative in WI sent me pictures. The pictures show packaging that I did NOT put in the box. They are telling me file with UPS but THEY LOST IT and SENT IT to a place I never authorized. Anyone else go through this?

Airwrap is not working for my hair texture

I have had the airwrap for about 6 months now, and I am struggling with it. I have thick hair and a lot of it. It’s not curly but more wavy and very frizzy. I have tried different products and methods but the air wrap just leaves my hair poofy and frizzy. I always have flyways that I can’t take. The style also doesn’t last for me. If I use the barrel it only lasts until the end of the day. If I use the round brush again it only lasts until the end of the day. And I can never get my hair to be smooth and shiny like I can with other heat tools. Help!!

Can I use my Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer from Japan in the US?

Hi,I recently bought a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer in Japan and bought it over to the US. When I was talking to the salesperson at the place of purchase, they told me that it should work since the power supply range is the same. However, when I plug in my hair dryer at home it doesn’t work at all. The voltage stated on the hair dryer is 100V 50-60 Hz. Please help!

big Big BIG HUGE BRUSHES desperately needed

Dear Dyson, Lets talk about round brush / attachment size. If you double the size of your largest round brush, you’ll be getting close to what women need. I’m talking AIRWRAP attachment, and regular blow dry brush. I have baby-fine, shoulder length hair, and can only get volume into my hair if I use a huge barrel brush. Please bring out a HUGE brush ASAP!

Serial number easy to remove

My hair dryer on/off switch stopped working. I purchased it 15 months ago. I took off the tag with the serial number because it was annoying. It is still under warranty and I have the receipt. Dyson customer service said they can do nothing because I removed the tag with the serial number. I bought this dryer to test for my YouTube fans. I gave it a great recommendation but now I am hoping people didn’t purchase this off my review. I will talk different about this product in the future. I also live 2 hours from a center than can fix it so that is not an option.

corrale problems

Hello,I am just curious to know if anyone else is having the same problems I am having? I have had to exchange my Coreale at least three times now because the cord stops charging or there is a short that won’t hold the cord in place. I use my flat iron every single day and the magnetic thing isn’t holding anymore. This has happened 3 different times! It’s frustrating that this is a $500 flat iron and I constantly have problems with it. I love the way it styles my hair but it’s frustrating that it won’t stay plugged in! I have the air wrap and the blow dryer, obviously no problems with those.. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

My airwrap broken after 3 years.

My Airwrap broke after 3 years, and it is not repairable. The solution given to me was a 25% discount to buy a new one. I would like to report my immense dissatisfaction. Considering the significant investment I made when purchasing the product, it is disappointing to find that its lifespan is so limited, especially since I have always used the product with extreme care. I firmly believe that a product of such value should offer durability consistent with its quality and price.

What repair options does Dyson offer for out of warranty Airwrap unit ?

I purchased my air wrap in 2020, loved it, raved about to my friends and even talked them into buying it. Suddenly this thing stopped working. Sought chat support - horrible, I was offered to send unit to Ontario (I am in AB Canada mind you) at my own expense. She kept repeating I buy a new one Called - a guy promised to look into my case and see what he can do (april 1st). He told me Canada actually has no repair centre. Really? Is this true dyson? Then buddyy said he will call me back april 5th. never got that call so I called Customer service april 12th so i was told basically, tough luck only option is to buy a new one and they will sell me a new unit at 20% (apparently their best offer). I dont need that, i can get it at 20% off with my sephora acct. then I asked, what is the benchmark usage for this airwrap so I can do the math based on how much cost im putting on for the life its expected to last.
